Dear CCP team, couple of times i have recieved messages as(expl): (notify) 6-CZ49 Traffic Control is currently experiencing heavy load and is unable to process your request. You are #2 in queue for jump-in.( just lost ship, cause of this trafic jam, which i find it a bit foolish.IF CCP can answer me whay should I HAD TO WAIT 4 MINUTES there i would be gratefull.thx in advance. I would like to know WHY DOES IT TAKES 4 minutes to jump trough?AND most important WHY the people curently queing up are not protected as if they are in jumping mode?DO please be so kind to review the matter, cause it is not fair to lose ships while waiting to jump into no matter which system.I think this is no players fault,so only You are the ones who can fix the matter, and if possible by next incoming patch. CCP team-you are the best- don't let us down....

Best advice i think can be given here is to keep clicking the jump button... Sometimes it helps, sometimes it dosnt.
I was #7 ( or something around there ) in line once, 2 min wait and i clicked it again and it let me jump. --Sig-- Anything posted by me is my opinion and not that of my corp or alliance. |

what IF 30,000 players currently participating on the server start BUMPING on the pay or NOT button?testing, and more testing is the winning combination for a GOOD business.and if something is wrong and needs to be adjusted, then let it be...here the hotfixes get place into the picture. WHy should I relay on bumping on a silly chances to jump?wasnt it better off before while using BMarks?well sorry, forgot the excuse of server cannot cope with it anymore....shame . WHY searching milestones then?make it solid first and then you will achieve more THAN what you have been expected.

I have to agree at some point. I was in jump queue for about 12 minutes, while my buddy who was inside the system was in jump queue to where I was.
I had 3 in local, and he had 2 (including ourself)
the real question here, what is actually "heavy load"

This really is a game breaking feature. What good is a fleet if your fleet gets held up at a gate? What good is flying to enemy 0.0 space if you get picked off queing to leave after you've completed your recon?
It makes no sense other then to keep a lid on the "load".
We have this hap-hazzard solution because for some reason proper load balancing is yet to be discovered whether that be via proper hardware architecture (throwing more power at things is not always the solution), or optimized code.
The advisories have got to go and if no plausable solution to removing them can be found then obviously we need to be immune during the queue period. We have no knowledge of queue lines or what the current load is like. Give us a chance CCP.

Jump queues in high sec empire where its overcrowded are somewhat understandable, but jump queues in 0.0 and low sec are just good examples of bad comedy.
At the very least, anyone in either 0.0, low sec, or anyone currently with a pvp aggro timer or active wardec should be put into autocloak until the jump actually occurs so BS jump queue deaths stop occuring.

Hey, sorry for your ship loss, but i was giving the best advice i can give you. Don't be a **** about it.
No, it wasnt better off using bookmarks, bookmarks created lag due to them being used as instas, which was not intended afaik. You want to leave over this? dont let the door hit you on the way out. It will be one less person making posts that are not constructive at all, rather than actually posting an idea on how to fix it.
I never disagreed with you, i think something should be done about the traffic control stuff. What though? I don't know, and you obviously are not making any useful posts to contribute to a solution.
And for god sakes, dont type like your drunk.
Either way, /signed because something needs to be done about it. --Sig-- Anything posted by me is my opinion and not that of my corp or alliance. |

Dear Tom, I would like to appologise for any mistakes or drunk writing(typing).I am not a native English lang speaker, which creates me some troubles as you have already noticed.I have stated in my first post an idea how to fix the matter: ''AND most important WHY the people curently queing up are not protected as if they are in jumping mode?'' The sooner CCP fixes it the less they will get involved into investigating ship losses by trafic advisors.... Regards

Its np about the english, i just meant the caps stuff :)
please dont take offense to anything i post... I have been sick for a month + and get little sleep due to it, i tend to have a short temper / bad mood from lack of sleep.
I like the idea of being protected, i just dont feel im qualified to agree / disagree and say why as i have not lost a ship to the que / and im not a pirate camping the que. --Sig-- Anything posted by me is my opinion and not that of my corp or alliance. |

traffic advisories work great for the server payload but not great for the user gameplay. Admittedly i have only had this issue once before revelations and once since, and the one since was between kisogo and jita! and that was a queue...
What needs to be done is getting the traffic advisories placed strategically where the payload is high (jita, kisogo and other areas like that) and free up the lower secs and emptier areas. then once a month check to see where the users are and jiggle as necessary!! It might not hurt to jiggle the systems on nodes around too. eg run kisogo and jita on one node (yea i do have a thing about kisogo and jita) and a few of the surrounding systems on another and work your way out round the crowds, like a ripple effect. This would give about the same number of users in each node or less, eg 700 a node

I totaly agree with you Hammer.0.0 space needs to be trafic advisors free.I believe no player here want to be waiting in hostile areas for a jump, while he possibly been hunted. There could fit so many scenarios....i dont mind waiting in Jita or nearby systems :)

A corp which got war declared and has industrialists is screwed with this traffic advisory ...
Oh nm ... When ships go pop there will be no traffic ....
Every ship that gets lost this way gets petitioned. If it gets replaced (eventualy) you will not recieve the items in your hold that didn't go boom ... "Sorry for your loss, ha ha ha, we cann't replace those items" ...
These traffic advisories need to be corrected or no combat within a range of 250k of any gate or station (hope not) ...
