Yep, i seem to have the same problem.
black screen with the "Entering the game as...." box.
goes back after some minutes to the Character selection.
I deleted the cache folder, and tried a second install, which works fine. should i petition a gm?

Hey i got the same issue, i was going to jump. Ship went invisable, every 1 around me was fine, loged out loged in, same again, loged out loged in and stuck on selecting charicter

got booted and cant get back in, stuck on "entering game screen". right in the middle of a 28 minute courier mission to low sec space.

so in the future, is it better to just stay away from any area with traffic advisory??
oh and 6 months later i still cant wait for my character picture.

same freaking boat, i've lost 6 hours of training time because of this. This late at night theres usually no problems with jita -.-

well im out in backwater 0.0 and am stuck in que to enter an empty system.How do I know its empty,had my alt in there (only person in system) and logged him out in an attemp to log main in there.
So aparently 0 ppl in system can be considered it max limit.KW-0AM is prob on the jitta node

Same deal. It was becoming impossible to do anything in Jita so I tried to reconnect. Been stuck logging in since.

I'm not in jita and its happening to me..
First they gave us new hardware. It got worse.
Then they optimized the code. It got worse.
Then they gave us WTZ to help the database. It is worse than ever.
Perhaps it is time for CCP to hire some consultants to help them actually FIX this.

Finally managed to get in. Jita is a laggy mess. Takes forever to get the simplest thing done.

I get the same thing whenever I try to log in now. No way to petition, because I can't get any sort of UI. Any suggestions?

You can file a petition from this site. See the tab 'My Petitions' down to the left.

I've got a dual core system. EVE is unplayable since the first revelations patch. CCP dont seem to be aware of this problem? At least i cant find a single official statement about it.
Please follow the instructions in this post and send in bug reports!!!
