The subject says it all, right clicking 6-8 guns for varied range is annoyin' :)
PVP would be very fast, and still very fun. Also really benefits mission runners.
Thoughts?

Careful, word on the street has it that Amarr will only get one boost for the rest of the game, and if the devs REALLY like this idea and since it applies to Amarr (and other races, yeah) it could be the only one =X -----

Seriously tho.
I can see a problem with this.
Currently there is an entry in drop-down menu for every ammo type you have in your cargohold.
If they add this feature the number of entries will double as you will need to have an entry to reload all guns with all available types of ammo and reload the selected gun with available types of ammo.
What I'm saying is that it could get messy and half the drop-down menu could be off screen due to weapon icon proximity to the bottom edge of the screen.
My 0.02 ISK, anyways.

I'd love to have the otpion to unload all and load all when docked. OR better yet let me save different load out as ship configs instead of drag and drop every slot.

Absolutely, yes, but it should take a little longer than doing the same thing manually. Make it so that players have a choice. RSI (quick) or less mousing (slow). -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

I just came to think about the Mech Warrior games where you had ammo crates for reloading . Let's say your ship has 2 crates where you can put your ammo, ready for changing. These can be icons besides your modules if you like.
If you need to change from X to Y, press Y and vice versa. This won't make you change to any ammo type on the fly, but has a certain realism to it as for a loading crew or gear it would be practical to have certain ammo types closer and more ready than others. If you need to change the ammo type in Y, just pull another ammo type there and it takes say 5 seconds for the crew/gear to load the quickfit-ammo there.
I don' know, just a thought of the top of my head. It is still early in the morning here and I just got up

Then have a submenu with all valid ammo in it pop up when you mouseover the 'reload all' entry like stations or asteroid belts.. KALI:Revelations.. Putting the Waaaa back in Piwat.. |

Right Click Menu ===== Reload Reload All
Load with > (submenu of available ammo types) Load All with > (submenu of Available ammo types)

not really that much more complicated, and the submenu means less clutter on right click. -----

Besides the fact that reload all includes missle launchers etc... maybe you can convince them to have a reload all turrets and a reload all launchers command

I t would just sub-divide by ammo type as it does automatically with the universal reload all anyway.

not really that much more complicated, and the submenu means less clutter on right click.
That sums up my idea right there. I also understand about the menu length though. Since the turrets are low on the screen, menu being too long etc could result in a bug for the entire menu not showing, or only half way. But Ash little menu loadout here shows how simple it can be!
