I mean, sure alliances gank carriers all the time. We aren't an alliance, heck, we're smaller than most corporations out and about around here. The fact that we pulled it off with a corporation that flies normally just T1 crusiers (we brought our best vessels to the show), it pretty much is downright impossible. Honestly speaking, we probably couldn't have done it had Ginger fought back.

Dont know if anyone else noticed but that Vaguard (ascn) guy is a bit away from home?
Carriers arent hard to kill. You just need to find someone dumb enough to constantly and predictably use it; esp if they pirate with it.
Oh and Ginger go eat some ice and cry yourself to sleep; whining on forums about it wont help.

You know someone that declares himself best pvpers around , but only camps noobs 23/7 on same place that blocks the main way to low sec form minmatar starting positions. Well its gonna be hated and receive this type of thing.
Its agreat achievment to kill the most advanced bot in the world, ginger soemtimes even give impression he is a human player. Imagine when his developers developa way to make him change his position!!! Also it needs to be able to automaticaly detect new ships in game as potential targets. Last time we passed there... we were in 5 Maelstroms.... (to test if he would attack us)... srangely he did nothing ...

No it is not an exploit. Recently a loot stealing ***** in a slasher tried his luck at our camp.We killed his frigate 4 times in a row.Each time his ship was scrambled and going down he logged off to ensure he was not podded.He then simply relogged got his pod away and purchased another frig in system.Actually we had to refresh our sell orders after this little trip:)
I petitioned this as an exploit and received message from one of the most senior GM's in EVE who told me that it was not considered an exploit and although they are considering ways to make it less appealing there was nothing he could do to help me.
Being as this lame example was hardly isolated I opted to take the same course of action and escape like so many bears do.

RPInc. did a great job of coordinating the attack and took the needed steps to get the job done. You killed Ginger Magician! Just be happy with that.
Ginger - You're famous! You've achieved a lot in this game. I would take a post like this as a compliment. If somebody kills me, they say yay, another killmail. If they kill you, they make a frickin post about it on the forums.
And great video btw. No matter who it was you killed, it was put together very nicely.

Well to all the forum warriors here saying about why are we bragging about his, whats the big deal, so what you killed a carrier we kill 5 a day. 90% of my corporations members are less then 6 months old, we are noobs we are young we are inexperianced. Our corp doesnt have any cap ships, we don't have infinte finances and acces to 0.0 and major alliance wars with three or four capital ship fleets duking it out. Hell most of the players that took place in that kill are less then 2 months old, now how many people here can actually go and say they killed a carrier within their first 2 months of gameplay, and after that fact how many of you can say if was the carrier to one of the oldest and one of the most well known players in the game. This is an accomplishment no matter how people would like to twist it.
However this wasn't done to get our name out, this wasn't done for bragging rights, this wasn't some plublicity stunt or some way to make us look like Gods, this decision to attack wasn't done because it was Ginger or because it was OctoberSnow. We carried this out because he was barricade in the middle of road, he was severaly slowing down my corporations progress so the decision was made to take him out just as any Director, CEO, CXO, Fleet Commander, Wing Lead, Executor, for any corporation or alliance of any size would have done.
Orginally we weren't going to post it, originally we were going to let it fade in the wind. However after all the EVE Mails, convos, invite to all these channels all telling me and my CEO "congratulations", "thank you", "great job", "would you like to work with us", after all the gitty chatter in Hagilur, Bei, and Anher, we decided to go ahead and post it up on the forums because nearly everyone that works and operates within Empire, especially in Metropolis, wanted Ginger to die. Save your falmes and smack for your wars and don't worry about speaking on issues you don't fully know, you'll save alot of lag on the forums.
And as for the real reason I came to post.

Guys i may be wrong so plz either confirm or correct me but....
This is not the 'same' ginger magician that legend is supposed to hold. He is simply some1 who bought the original guys account and we even discussed this in local with another player, and yes, ginger said nothin, absolutely nothing apart from, omg im gona pwn yous.
We killed him in hagilur in his megaT with his lil buddy only a couple of months ago, and upon doing, he launched a tirade of abuse in local. He immediately (as always) could not see that he had been defeated fairly (ganked) and screamed EXPLOIT! Oh, and we 'looked' like people who would use exploits. The reason for him petitioning us, and might i add with no success, bcoz on his overview there was only 2 BS shooting him, yea bcoz i was still in warp when they engaged.
Anyways, good job, waste of a great legend and a great disapointment to us all.

18 on 1 to kill a carrier is not ganking its just common sense. The only reason he flys a carrier is so lone travelers or small groups cant stand up to him. It takes a coordinated effort like this was to take him down.
Yea logging off to save a pod is lame but there are ways to still get the pod. With the new scanning times on covert ops it takes 45 seconds to scan anything so you can get the pod before it clears system. If that doesnt work a ship fitted with smartbombs when he comes back to the gate after logging in again will finish the job.

Now is it just me, or did the loot look kinda weird?.. I realize that you can field 15-20 drones, but honestly, who carries that many Target Disruptor drones??.. That many Sensor Damp drones?.. Less than 40 Ogres?.. Apparently no other fighters?.. It's like some bizarre sort of X-Mas present for whoever kills him.. The sort of thing a GM might try to do to get people to use commonly overlooked items.. Kinda odd..
