*Rant* Seriously, once the player count gets over 25k you might as well forget about trying to log in much less play. 45 minutes in queue to log in, go 1 system over to rebid on auctions (because we all know you can't use the contract system out of region), another 45 minutes in jump queue to get back home, BOOM Eve CTD/disconnects, now another 45 minutes in log-in queue to get back in.
Just get it over with and cap the server limit at 25,000 players until you can get all this queue bullchit sorted.

I don't see any of those problems, logged in both account just now, no log in wait although there were 29k online, no probs using the markets, no probs moving about, logged out at a time of my own choosing.

I feel no pity for those people who cannot log in because they choose to live in the very few systems in the game that are overcrowded. You can bid in any system in The Forge for an item located in Jita, so there is no excuse to sit in Jita all day and complain when you cannot get in.

I don't live in Jita, I stay away from Jita like it's got a case of gonoherphsiphalies. My home system is at best 10+ systems away from Jita and in another region.

Just so you know Jita is in the Lonetrek region, so no matter where you are in The Forge, you still can't do anything with contracts that are in Jita and/or Lonetrek.
If this is the best either of you can do....ah never mind I don't get into battles of wit with unarmed people.
EDIT: And further more the Dev's have stated over and over that if your encountering queues it's because either A) the node(system) your trying to get to is at 100% or close to or B) the node(system) is stuck and it's to keep players from getting stuck. This has nothing to do with where you live in game and everything to do with the state of the server cluster. Next time do a little research before you start running your mouth, maybe next time you won't end up with your foot in it. -------------------------------- As a Freelancer...scratch that Originally by: Shar Tegral Stop projecting your out of game beliefs of what society should be upon the rest of us.

FYI that initial login queue has nothing to do with what system your characters are located in (you havent gotten to character selection yet ffs)
and believe it or not, JITA is NOT the only LAGGING system in EvE. some systems have constant lag (like jita sure, like aramachi, saila etc..) but other systems have sporadic, unpredictable lag.
some peoples arrogance is seconded only by their desire to post "first" --

I stand corrected, shows you exactly how often I go there. I assumed it was as thats the next region over from me. That doesn't change anything about my point that TQ is sick and queues are it's symptoms. -------------------------------- As a Freelancer...scratch that Originally by: Shar Tegral Stop projecting your out of game beliefs of what society should be upon the rest of us.

Almoust 33k players online some time ago. And server was really lagy.
My point is that i wasnt even in high population place.
Cap should be rise up to 50k. (If hardware update needed so be it.)

And why theres place like Jita? I understand its importance but should there be 2. and 3. place where people could do same things?
Your point is irrelevant unfortunately. Most systems share a 'node' (a server, basically) with lots of other systems. There is some form of load balancing in use but it's based on activity rather than system security. I also don't think it's dynamic and only balances once at downtime.
If one of the systems sharing your node becomes overly busy it will impact all the other systems on that node. Since there is no 'geographical' linkage between the systems on a given node it doesn't matter where you are on the map nor where the troubled system is.
As for Jita - that's largely down to human nature. People just like to congregate and the positioning of agents and map routes just made them congregate at Jita. You could very well ask why so many people and companies choose to live/operate in places like London, Paris, New York instead of finding somewhere cheaper, quieter and cleaner to live.
As for the solution:Who knows? I had hoped myself that Kali would fix things but I have seen no improvement so apparently CCP don't know either at the moment. We can only hope that eventually they figure it out. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

I've never gotten a login queue of over 4 people. When there are only 9K people on to when there are 30K people on, practically no queue for me. I only notice those crazy jump queues when i try to go to stupidly popular places. Now, I just place buy contracts for ships i want and people bring them to me for a couple extra million buy cost and i build most of my fittings. I hardly ever leave low sec or my home system (a .1 system that usually has from 2-10 people in it) doing 3 level 4 agents (quality 20) at a time. When I do, it's to go play in 0.0 and make isk chaining belts and recently exploring. Try going outside of the main areas and you'll be fine. It's just like when you play SWG and go to coronet or WoW and go to IF, lots of people = lag. go out and enjoy the game instead of fighting with the traffic and lag and you'll be a much happier player.

Ok. Just wondering is it completly wrong, if game makers would take something out of Jita and make another system near it and add it in there. Like cake cut to half. Its only a game. Good game play > Story line (or other unrealistic changes in world)

I don't know what CCP can do to address Jita. Given how many people still live there and/or operate in there despite the lag and pirating I have to wonder what it would take to persuade people to spread out. -- (Battle hardened industrialist)

Don't pretend its just busy systems that get this problem.
I was in the queue to log into a completely empty system for about an hour the other night, and there's about 5 people in the entire contellation - one of the quietest regions in the universe.

I never get log-in queues, even when the server is +30k like last night. And I find spamming the jump button over and over again helps with jump queues. Hehe, perhaps you should stand corrected in the other matter aswell.
Some times I've loged in when its 30+ (yeh, odd isnt it that Im not online already, go figure. Sisi can be interesting too) I have never had a higher que then #1 at those times, no I dont float around Jita either. The times Ive had highest que is when its been a downtime(mostly large ones have been a higher nr que). However its Nothing compared to what the que was when Revelations was patched on Sisi(test server).

No one is pretending anything. Read my first response to this thread. Specifically read the first paragraph, the one that starts with "Your point is irrelevant unfortunately." -- (Battle hardened industrialist)
