How are you going to tank with 2 slots? You need MWD, webber and disruptor in 3 of the meds to solo. Xtro 2 Caldari Pre-nerfed Tactics	Posted - 2006.12.11 11:30:00 - [6] with the navy caracal you could do that with a reasonably efficient armour tank, damp/sens booster and scram/etc in mids. Risky tho with a standard caracal, but much cheaper and more disposable. Better off with a blackbird, way less damage by far but more options open to you due to the midslots. . infraX Caldari Finite Horizon The Red Skull	Posted - 2006.12.11 11:31:00 - [7] I would suggest that you reconsider using a caracal for solo pvp/piracy. If you fit a webber and a scrambler, that leaves you two less slots to fit your shield tank (yes you want to shield tank your caracal). I'm not sure what your skillset allows for but I would recommend you try something that is armour tanked if you want to solo. This allows the midslots free for the much desired MWD/Web/Scram combo. The caracal is ok as a damage dealer if you have a friend to tackle but if you try to solo, your tank will be lacking or you will not be able to tackle effectively. Bottom line - fit the caracal with a full shield tank as a damage dealer only and get a friend to tackle, or try an armour tanked ship that can fit MWD/Web/Scram for solo stuff (can you fly a thorax?) Good luck.

Xsag Caldari School of Applied Knowledge	Posted - 2006.12.11 13:59:00 - [12] haha yeah been ganked so many times by n00b pirates thought id would have a go at being a n00b pirate and see if i can see what the other end of the stick feels like besides managed to get my sec rating upto 0.6 from mission running lvl 3 missions so thought i could take a hit on my sec status without it being any big deal :-) but yes blackbird would be the ship for trying some solo action :-) ~n00b of all trades~ ~~Airkio~~ / ~~Muvolailen~~ ~if im posting on here its cos im in work~
