Lilou XxX	Posted - 2006.12.11 12:11:00 - [1] is it possible to hunt angel spawns in 0.0 using drake. if so could u suggest what setup i should use. (BC lvl 5, Heavy missiles lvl5) Preferably disposable setup, with minimum amount of t2 mods

One ship to suck them dry and in the dark void gank them.

I like using heavy assaults more, but in order to make it work you have to have a MWD to keep the correct range. -- The universe is governed by the aggressive use of force. Omni tank vs. angels is a must.

That is the angel seraphim, which is a quite rare spawn anyways. That last mid slot can probably be put to better use. I'd personally use: 1 Kin 1 Therm 1 Expl 1 Invul Works like a charm, and takes less cap. edit: also, the higher kin and expl resists with this setup more than cancel out the lost em resist because almost every angel ship has 70%-90% of its damage centered around expl and kin. Take a look

Take a look Explosive really is the thing they do the most, and since it is a passive shield tank, it works great. Tanking is not a problem, the real trick is being able to KILL the spawn. -- The universe is governed by the aggressive use of force. Hows this for a little note! I don't see why hunting Angels would be any harder. My Setup: 7x Heavy Assault Launchers (Torrent EM Heavy Assault Missile) 1x MWD 2x Invul II 3x Shield Extender II 1x BCU 1x PDU II 2x RCU Wish I could drop some of the RCU's....but I need them to fit everything on. Shields never drop below about 45% even for the biggest spawns. Only in ASCN would someone consider the solution to being short an office to be "Drop another Outpost"
