Update:
Decided to let one launcher client run and it eventually downloaded 238/283Mb update , which it called 'complete'.
Second launcher is still waiting in the 'Creating Patch 0.0% state... |

I got the same issue.
Whe I try to Start EVE I get:
Your EVE client instalation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe

Stuck at Creating Patch 0.0%. I have tried running the repair tool to no avail. Apparently 11794 people ahead of me do not have this issue?
Are there any files or folders we can delete to force the launcher to try the patch again? |

launch success. go to:
computer->local disk C->Programm Files->CCP->Eve->launcher-appdata->Eve_Online_Launcher-2.2.950061.win32->launcher (aplication).
takes about 10-15 munites to download. numbers of data will jump from 25 MB to ~400MB, percentage is wrong. |

File is corrupted.
Launching the ExeFile directly gives an Unable to connect to 87.237.38.200 on port 26000 error in the client. Not a version mismatch error. Guessing there's connection issues between us and them at the moment.
Doing a traceroute shows that my requests seem to be getting stopped at the ISP level and never leave their network.
Out of interest, is anyone else on BT here? |

Mona is correct, rename the file, do NOT unzip it. Worked a charm for me and I'm in.
For reference I am also on BT, and was unable to get any patch data till I downloaded the file Mona linked. |

Was your client at the latest patch? Could be the reason that this specific update doesn't work.

Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Click Folder options > Move to View Tab > Unselect ''Hide Extensions for known File Types'' > after that, do as quoted. if u rename the file while this is unselected the launcher WILL recognize it,
Not saying it will work for everyone but it worked for me,

Yeah, you should replace the .zip to the .patch.
Just adding that to the name will not work. |

Strange. Check if you have any eve process stuck and force then to close so you could try again.
Other than that maybe just the repair or running with the logger to see if you can have any idea of the issue. |
