Love getting in after a bender and trying to battle with Nitro on vent just so he can own me with lyrics.
Nice to hear some rap that isn't completely detatched from reality for a change.

A pilots heartache when he got collared, his corp mates I am sure that they hollered.
A memorial concept that may be wrong, was encapculated nicely in this song.
Remember Cyborg in his engulfing grief and the warriors of ASCN in their utter disbelief.
Nitro G your song is class,
but next time I see ya im still gonna cap your arse

Fo' sho' mah playahs! Heh.
How's that for stereotyping, oh my.. Even though hip hop culture might have started in mostly non-white communities, it's worldwide now, and "race" is completely irrelevant to the issue even though the mass media twists it the other way around. What kind of "hiphop" do you really like if you're saying something like that anyway? MTV on 24/7? If you knew the culture any better, you wouldn't be making statements like that in the first place.
Oh yeah Nitro, very good track, I enjoyed it a lot. Was the Slick Rick -reference in the start intentional? :) Overall, the track is a little similar to some stuff I've heard from the Bay area underground like Slumplords, Azeem etc. I'm not really feeling the synth stabs on the beat that much, but the overall vibe on the instrumental support the vocals well. The backdrop at the hook is just right.

What Fortior tried to say is that white guys shouldnt rap, they should sing. Rap sucks. Normal rap anyway, cant listen to the Eve Rap yet -----

No need to try to explain something to those outside looking in, you'd still rely on your stereotypes even if I tried to bring out a different aspect of it. The attitude of a lot of people in this thread reminds me a lot about the clip on Da La Soul's Buhloone Mindstate LP, where 2 guys are commenting about what "rapping" is. I won't go into the details here, because the post would get erased by the moderators. Check out the LP if you're curious to know more. I'm done with this thread, it's pointless trying to force you to bang your heads against your barn doors in order for you to get the point

Amazing how some simpletons come into this thread just to announce their hate for rap. How can you possibly know that rap "sucks" if you havent heard every single rap song out there? I bet most of you havent even made an effort to find good rap music. You shouldnt limit yourself to a specific genre just because it agrees with your "style" (clothing, attitude, you know what i mean emo/metal/techno-kids). Good music is good music, no matter the genre.
Anyway, my favourite line was "Many align with bob for the solution, or they get sent to the frontier and become a victim of evolution." ______________

Oh my, seems my personal opinion that I find white men rapping hilarious is volatile stuff I never said I was an expert on the field! Well, let me explain my position.
The hiphop I will forever hold in highest esteem is the spontaneous, improvised kind. Back in -02 I was an exchangestudent in Greensboro, NC. I was on the varsity track & field team (only white guy in short distance group \o/) and before every meet an improvised battle would take place on the bus, the coach participating and everything. Or just improv. rap in general. Whenever a poor sod (almost exlusively a white guy) tried to jump in, it was just embarassing. It was a traumatic experience, which forever has changed my taste in music.
That being said, I didn't exactly say Nitros song sucked, I actually think it's somewhat good. But my initial response to it was just to laugh. It still is, but on the wrong premises perhaps.
