Lately the warzone looked like it was turning. The efforts of DNG and others, along with the farmer flip made things look rather dire. No longer. TLF forces including Ushra'Khan, WAVE and Hashashin Cartel just knocked down Todifrauan, Arnher and Ofstold within hours pretty much uncontested. Hard University from the FDU also earned a mention by doing capture work beforehand.
The Imperial loyalists may have thought they were going to have their way with the Warzone, but today has shown they will have to work damn hard if they want to cry "Amarr Victor".

Words can't describe my level of frustration by the Empress being killed by drifters instead of our own bloody hands. I would have loved to see her running away from the drifters into the warzone and away from her pathetic navy support so that I could have had my way with her ship.
This little hat trick of success does make me feel a little bit better. I will ride the tide that swallows the Amarr loyalist pigs. |

My favorite word here is "uncontested".
Every single attempt the Matari Militia has made on Aldodan for a year has quite literally bounced off, often with a comical "boiinng" noise.
Then 48 hours after the major Amarr group living in the area move out, the Minmatar are crowing of their great victory.
Congrats on the undefended systems I guess. Took you ******* long enough.

The drums of war beat, it has been to long since I have slept in the stations of Evita. With the Amarr main force out of the way. I feel the tide is turning. With their army of plexers gone, the bodies will pile up. My throwing spear has yet to taste the blood of new commanders. Maybe I will get the chance to thrust down and capture the dying breath of them. I would say not to day, it's too late to kill. But tomorrow we will have our war, and we shall have our people!!!

It was not that they did not want them, itGÇÖs that DNG its self is weak. The rest of Amarr even weaker without their driving Corp they shall not stand up to the fleet sizes and ships we can put on the field. I hate to say it but Falcons were defiantly holding us back. But with their withdraw all slavers shall feel the growing pains of my Ubusha, and my Ikwa.

Shiva Makoto, brave warrio of amarr, sits on his slave throne in Evati. In his right hand he holds his spear, gently caressing it. The left hand rests on the head of a brutor slave, the unlucky creature got caught when he was left behind by a fleeing Ushra'Khant fleet and is now part of the living furniture.
Hearing an unfamiliar noise he looks over and sees that one of the dirty slave creatures attempts something that could be interpreted as speaking, clearly not knowing it's place. "Master, can we stop polishing your Medal now that you serve Caldari?"
Shiva Makoto slowly stands up and walks over to the slaves polishing his Medal. He looks at the creatures polishing his medal and with one swift move he grabs his throbbing, long spear and thrusts down. Hard and repeatedly. Some slaves dare to look over but turn their heads in fear again. The room is filled with moans, the noise of the thrusting spear and Shiva's Ubusha and Ikwa slapping together.
After a while the slaves who fell victim to the wrath of Shiva get carried away to the airlocks. Shiva Makoto walks over to his slave throne and sits down again, some sweat is running down his muscular chest. His deep voice fills the room: "#NOMEDAL" |

what does dng have to do with this. It was your militia that couldn't take a system from 40 active members of MCF1B. We've never bothered to plex Aldolan because we knew PYRE could hold it solo. They even told us to let it get to a high contestion so you guys would fight, sucks that you didn't :(

I wouldn't say what you fielded only counts as "playing a part". Hashashin Cartel by far showed the greatest strength in numbers and vessels this day, and he would have been entirely right if it wasn't simply a matter of timing. Hashashin Cartel also flew in the fleets that took Todifrauan and Ofstold.

As Master Nikolai finished his visit to her quarters, his Ubusha and Ikwa well spent, 'Bubblecups' called her favorite brutor boy in. The poor lad hated the girly maid outfit that she made him wear, but really, he looked quite charming for a matari boy. He started for the Medal - Wednesdays were his shifts - but was grabbed by his collar before he could even reach the thing. No, tonight he was cleaning something else first, he realized, gulping in terror.
Nikolai forbade her to speak, even to her own slaves, but Xewtr asserted her dominance in other ways. As the boy looked up at his owner between her twin personalities, he understood his place. He realized that even the glorious warrios of Ushra'Khan could never save him from the shame of his heritage. He wept as his stomach churned from accepting his destiny.
His great ancestors might once have been proud of his acts today, but in this day and age, a recaptured slave could boast of no honorable servitude. He wasn't serving as the direct hands of God as per the identities of matari lineage. Instead, he was a filthy runaway who failed.
When the boy finished his first task, he wiped his hands and knees off before returning to finish his first task. As he polished the Medal to its shine, he remembered the day his commander had abandoned the fleet in the face of battle. In the face of glory. Instead of fighting for their people, the matari people had already accepted, deep down, that there will be #nomedal. |

Yes, Republicans, you can have your space back. Our objective has been completed. You were entertaining for a time, but sadly we must leave the theater we shared to pursue a new operation. We take with us the people who could see beyond your meaningless crusade, who understand there is something greater at work.
Please maintain perspective, however. You did not achieve victory; you were merely a minor inconvenience, an infestation that would only spread freely when those who effortlessly perpetrated your destruction were no longer present. Nothing has changed for you. You have not improved as people, as pilots, as warriors. Your pithy guerrilla tactics have only proven that the Minmatar as a people are not prepared for the new world that inevitably lies ahead.
The racial boundaries are falling, replaced by ideology. Sure, you think you're the heroes, freeing slaves and all. Maybe you are, but being heroes won't help you survive in the capsuleer age. You need discipline, selflessness and mutual respect and these are virtues the Tribal Liberation Force severely lack.
So yes, pat yourselves on your backs. Go ahead. You'll be too busy celebrating to see yourselves dissolving away. Maybe it's better you don't watch as the disease consumes you. Still, I'm compelled to warn you... escape your mediocrity while you can. You wouldn't stand a chance against a foe that would truly intend to annihilate you, assuming your anomie doesn't destroy you first. |

Right.
Having engaged PY-RE Falcons on numerous occasions as their enemy, usually running a fleet with about 5 times their number, not once have I heard them complain, not even when we killed them (on the rare occasions that occurred).
Having flown with them now, I've lost count of the number of times they've willingly engaged a force superior to their own in numbers or ship type.

As a member of Lord Otsdarva the fourth's revered 'pleasure cabal', 19 year old Cecil Catnip enjoyed a great number of benefits. Benefits unlike any slave before him had ever seen. With a firm buttocks and strong, broad shoulders, he was one of the Lord's favourite possessions.
This was all to change however. Upon learning of the 24th Imperial Crusade's failure to defend Aldolan, the Lord was thrown into a frenzy. His once smooth, silky voice became marked by deep, hateful undertones. He furiously copy pasted "DRINK PLEX WELP REPEAT" into local chat without bothering to engage in his usual, god tier sperg. Where this sperg once excited the slaves in his ownership during his domination of them, it now filled them with dread.
Upon being locked out of local chat, the Lord turned to Cecil.
'I must speak with you in private Cecil.'
This could mean only one thing. Normally Cecil would be delighted to be in the personal, intimate company of his owner, but today Cecil entered his chambers sweating and shaking uncontrollably.
As usual, his Lord's throwing spear plunged deep into Cecil's Ikwa. As time went on, the young slave boy noticed the growing intensity of each thrust.
It soon became unbearable. Tears started to poor from Cecil's unmarked face, his normally sharp features turned to mush in the face of his Lord's onslaught. At the rate this engagement was going, Cecil would soon lose his Ubusha. What that meant he had no idea, he didn't care. Cecil just wanted to survive this assault, and for things to go back to normal.
He felt his lord's voice, icy and cold, drill into the back of his neck.
"Who comes for your people?" his lord whispered. Straining to respond, Cecil sobbed 'We do...'
In a fit of rage the Lord's spear thrusted so violently that Cecil almost lost the will to speak.
'NO!' Otsdarva boomed, 'I COME FOR YOU PEOPLE!'
'I am all that the great Warrios of Ushra'khan should fear on the other side of the gates. I am the destroyer of stabbed thrashers, I will in fact stab all those who fly stabbed thrashers with my long Stabber. The Minmatar Malitia will have no idea what will hit them, or pokes them.'
'What is my name Cecil?' his voice soothed, 'What do you call me?'
'Ratboy...my Lord.'
As Cecil uttered his final words, Ratboy convulsed in pleasure.
Otsdarva's voice slowly lost it's edge, as did his powerful thrusts. "That's right Cecil. That's right...'
Cecil had done his duty.
In the darkness of the night, content to have satisfied his lord one final time, the broken body that was once Cecil Catnip sighed one final sigh and collapsed to the floor.

Another corp change? This is my third corp (fifth if you count the two corporations created for specific functions, funding myself and a few close friends), and me going back to those who taught me pretty much everything I know about fleet combat as a capsuleer. I don't make a habit of changing employment often. Also until today I didn't even know of your moving back. Now knowing that, yes it most definitely had something to do with it. Ahh, this thread brings back memories.
TLF have had a hard time, let them celebrate a little. Amarr Mil have been carried by PYRE since DnG left, now that DnG have returned but PYRE have left we will see if Amarr Mil will pay the price of concentrating their best PvPers into 1 corp.
I think the TLF are just breathing a collective sigh of relief here really. I'm sure what they mean to say is 'Good Fight PYRE, good luck and don't come back till we have a medal'
But then hey that would be the smart thing to say...
In response to the Minmatar baiting short stories...
"My Lord Chamberlain?"
Court Chamberlain Pomik Haromi looked up from the pile of correspondence that had been building up from Empire loyalist capsuleers stating their interest in representing various Royal Heirs and frowned at his receptionist.
"What is it? I hope it's important?"
"I have a priority signal from one of the Mega Corporations of the Caldari State. They wish to speak to you directly, they think that they can help us!"
The Chamberlain pushed the paperwork aside. "Patch them through at once"
An image appeared on the Chamberlains personal coms channel of a dashing red headed Sebiestor female.
Ms Vanis-Tor "My Lord Chamberlain...has your Empire had an accident that was not your fault? I would like to talk to you about our new Drifter insurance product..."
The channel quickly turns to static and the receptionist calls for paramedics, his Lordships blood pressure was causing problems again... |

Much like you, I recognized the thread for what it is, and I'm not really into useless back-and-forth or fanciful tales of slave abuse. So I thought I'd dissect some all-too-common accusations.
Completely ignoring any argument about whether or how often we indulge in all the blobbing, bling-fitting, and linking we supposedly do, it never fails to tug one of my eyebrows up when someone goes on about how horrible we are for using what we've got.
Are there not a few pilots in the TLF who can run links? Didn't capturing seven-eights of the warzone yield enough reward to pay for some more effective gear? Aren't there strategies for fighting the presumed PY-RE blob beyond n+1, or running away?
I see this as an externalization of control, a certain kind of setting yourself up for failure in such a way that you can afterwards absolve yourself of any responsibility. It's an attitude unbecoming and of little use to a warrior wanting to improve his craft. |

It is definitely company policy to keep all accounts current. The Empire was an excellent employer in that regard - it was a pleasure to deal with the representatives of the Empress and I can confirm that all their money was spendable.
Sadly, the future is a little... unpredictable... and it is not at all certain that her replacement would be quite as keen on foreign mercenaries, hence our redeployment elsewhere.

Hi. That operation is concluded and we have now redeployed out of the Matari/Empire warzone entirely. Also, we are not and never have been an Empire loyalist organisation.

I had honestly made the unspoken assumption that you personally had lost interest in it :) The statement was directed at something that involves quite a few others besides yourself :) Did I *really* have to explain that? :)
(for clarity's sake, Pieter, here ends my direct speaking to you alone. The rest is for a, you know, like, whoever is interested, general audience kind of thing) :) ______________________________________________________________
Being relatively new to FW, let me say I do view this with mixed feelings. Even as a greener noob than I am now, (say 5 months ago) my analysis of the warzone had already identified PY-RE Falcons as THE main roadblock to a Minmatar sweep of the warzone.
So, in that sense, your departure is a disappointment. I was honestly looking forward to and planning for meeting the challenge you represented. I enjoyed contemplating and using my imagination to find ways to meet that challenge because, in my eyes, it was a significant one.
The more I looked around and the more I learned about my beloved Minmatar brothers, the more I realized we had much to accomplish in ourselves before we could hope to meet advanced opponents in honorable combat and defeat them.
That internal work is well under way.
Perhaps, just perhaps, somewhere down the road, in the bright light and heat of a new day, we can meet again. In the meantime, I bid you Godspeed, and eagerly contemplate the potentials.....they are limitless and intriguing.
Now, we have work to do, but rest assured, the eastern sky is glowing in Minmatar space.......and the coming day has "gud fights" written all over that brightening arc.

A year ago I said I'd stick around 'til I had 200m SP.
A year has passed, and it took me that first year to decide I wanted to win the medal for the Matari faction.
So I have about 8.5 years left to prove I can keep to my word. Even were PY-RE to return, even if the Amarr crush us again, you can rest assured I'll be somewhere under the rubble of the most recent battlefield, sharing a fat cigar with my comrades, getting ready to go at it again.
Disorganised? Sure. Kitchen sink? Damn right. Filled with more spies and farmers than actual unique players? Hell yeah!
Perhaps in the end, even my determination won't be enough. But even if I have to force my way step by bloody step towards the Book of Records in Dam-Torsad, battling past zealous priests and liberating slaves along the way, to commit utter sacrilege and relieve myself on it, I'll be damned if we aren't going out with an impression for the whole universe to remember.
I never joined the Matari expecting an easy fight. I won't let my guard down even if PY-RE is not here. A change in the winds this radical only means the next shift is highly likely to be in the favour of the Amarr.
I love the smell of Republic Fleet Fusion shells in the morning.
