CODE actually tried this a couple of years back.
Erotica1 was hurfing and blurfing about it for a couple of weeks on the forums (narrative was that -7- were apparently AFK miners, as if that even works in Providence)
Then when they finally made their move, Sev3rance singlehandedly so utterly destroyed them during their very first attack (and then proceeded to camp their staging) that the entire invasion was cancelled and nothing of the invasion was ever mentioned again on the forums.

While I wouldn't say we won (we never really expected to win). You have to admit that Goons did not come close to achieving their initial goal. And that is more than we expected to achieve, so we are happy.
