Hi, just wondering if anyone actually flies these things and if so does anyone have any nice setup ideas?
I was kinda thinking that something similar to standard vagabond setup would work except that without the nice resistances and the falloff bonus i'm not sure its really playing at its strengths. Sure it has lots of hitpoints and a bit less mass so it's still gonna be nice and fast with MWD/AB and still take a fair bit of damage but i wonder if there might be a better use for it.

cmon, someone somehwere must have flown this ship or at least have some thoughts on it.....i was thinking of using it for small gang ops or careful solo pvp vs frigs / cruisers if thats any help

I think the Vagabond have pretty much made the Fleet Issue Stabber redundant. But then theres the price. I dont think the fleet stabber costs as much as the Vaga. Maybe half the cost of a vaga. But im just guessing.

err not sure what they sell for but its around 90-150mil i would reckon, i got mine for a bunch of LPs i wasnt using and 20 mil

The Fleet Stabber sells for an average 120m.
This is what i run when i do take it out for a spin:
x4 180mm
x2 med nos
x1 mwd
x1 20km scram
x1 webber
x1 L shield ext
x2 gyros
x1 DCU
x2 inertial stabs
The other set up i used to run:
x4 180mm
x2 med nos
x1 mwd
x1 20km scram
x1 webber
x1 sensor damp/cap booster
x1 MAR
x1 DCU
x2 EANM
x1 gyro
Either way its an expensive t1 ship so normally i dont use it....persoanaly id prefer to unleash a vaga inspite of its cost just because of its bonuses higher survivability

Don't think it's worth the isk really, but I'd use something like:
4 220 II, 2 missile launchers (heavy or assault)
MWD (named or faction), 20k scram, 2 LSE II
2 gyro IIs, 2 local i-stabs, 1 local overdrive
I'd say just get a hurrican and do something similar really.

lol i suppose i really ought to have anticipated this, i mean it's a nice ship n all but kinda pointless.
Its either a sub-par vaga / slightly pimped stabber, a stabber that flies like a close range ruppie but isnt really any better or something to waste an entire evening trying to find its niche and then give up and let it gather dust

I used to like the fleet stabber as it was half the price of vagas (altho with vaga prices dropping...)
First off - no point treating it as a vaga with the 2 LSEII - it's not got the resists. So you work off the armour, but your don't want a plate as speed's its friend. I think I had lows with a few t2 energised, dcu, med rep2 - that sort of thing. My mids were mwd, 20km, webber and ecm multi.
With the nerf to ecm the mids need changing. Now I'd be tempted to have mids as MWD, faction disruptor, 2* damp and 220/dual 180 t2s in highs with 2 heavy/assault missiles.
It's a great ship - you just have to remember that vaga has speed + shield resist and fleet just has the speed (but more hitpoints). Also smaller drone bay :/
