Just bought my shinny new banan...apoc and am having some trouble fitting it,
So I figured i'ld let you guys fit it for me, only catch is that its on a low sp and a budget meaning, No T2 and No Tachyon Modulateds either also Lasers only!
im after 3 different setups,
No tank gate sniper
Mega Pulse PvE vs. Guristas
Tachyon PvE vs. Guristas
Guristas primary damage/weakest resist is kinetic.
Also every well thought out setup gets some free isk

I'll get this out of the way right now and tell you to stop using lasers on Gueristas. What's wrong with you!?
If you want to use an apoc to fight Gueristas, use autocannons.
as for a gate sniper setup:
8x best named tach
-2x best named tracking computer 2 x prototype sensor booster
-1x best named tracking enhancer (ugh train weapon upgrades 4 and get T2 enhancers at least)
-as many RCUs as you need to fit the guns
-fill the rest with heat sinks

Why not use the tools that are freely available, like the stickified link collection up there?

Megapulse PvE (the one i used):
8x megapulse t2 + multifreq (or conflagration cause of added thermal damage)
MWD/web/cap recharger/multispec (multi was in case some ganker comes ;p)
3x heatsink, 2x kinetic, LAR t2, CPR
Still - train up for raven... its WAY faster :S

I think you use hybrids while fighting guristas to maximize your ammo efficiency (and or not 2x cruise launchers)

Mid Slots: 1x Afterburner, 3x Capacitor Recharger

Here is my NPC hunter:
8xMega Pulse 2 with MultiFreq (with Microwaves as backup). T2 ammo just doesn't cut it for NPC hunting
Core X 100Mn AB
3xCap Recharger II
Dark Blood Large Rep
Heat Sink II
Faction hardener
t2 hardener
t2 hardener
2xCap relay
7xt2 drones (I use hammerheads, but you should use Vespas (IIRC))
This setup has enough cap to shoot and run everything (yes, even AB+Rep), for an extended period of time. It can shoot and tank forever and can tank faction spawns long enough to kill them without problems.
A bit pricy for 0.0 maybe

8x mega pulse (upgrade to best named asap)
named AB
web
2x cap rechargers
2x named AR
2x kin hardener
1x therm hardener
named cpr
named heat sink
med kin drones
inferreds/multys
set keep range 9000m, acivate hardeners, AB to target, activate guns at about 20km, get into web range, web target, turn off AB,sit back and wate the year it takes to pop.
dont fit a tractor beam, dont fit a salvager, need all the guns you can fit. forget about the 3x 1.8 million isk spawns untill you have the best named guns and lvl3 gunnery skills at lest. it takes so long to kill the target it is not worth the time.

Against some targets, a set of large smartbombs works like a charm, even or especially against incoming ships on WTZ.

I can't setup your amarr ship, but a few hints...
When you are fighting Gurista or Angels, you need to use some Launchers with kinetic/explosive missiles (I recommend siege launchers if you field a lot of battleships, otherwise use cruise launchers) and then get specific drones too... Obviously you need to tank for the specific damage as well, but people already told you that...
And Launchers on Amarr ship is perfectly allright - just ready some of the backstories... The great Amarr hero had at least 8 siege launchers fitted (perhaps more but your ship can only use 2)

Heh, good luck on fighting Guristas with lasers. Anyway back to the subject, good sniper setup already given above so, I'll talk about the rest.
For L-3 missions and BS rats up to 500k bounty:
7x Mega Pulse w/Standard L crystals (MF and Infrared as backup)
1x Tractor Beam
3x Cap Recharger II (or best named T1)
1x Orion or Optical Tracking Computer
1x LAR II (or best named T1)
1x Heat sink
2x Cap Power Relay (hint: Beta model have 24% rate)
3x Active hardeners
30km optimum with Standard crystals with average skills. Quite useful. Don't forget 4-5 medium drones (Vespa for Guristas)
For L-4 missions (I have done all L-4 missions with this setup, including Gurista Extra and Worlds Collide Gurista/Serpentis one)
* You need minimum 50km range Torpedo skills, or Cruise missiles (less effective) otherwise forget about killing L-4 Gurista Batleships *
5x Best named Tachyon w/X-Ray crystals (MF and Standards as backup)
2x Best named Siege Launchers w/Kinetic torps
1x Tractor beam
4x Cap Recharger II
1x LAR II (it is minimum required ! worst ones will result you get yourself killed faster)
1x Heat Sink (best one you can use)
1x Cap Power Relay
4x Active hardeners
Decent drone skills (5 med drones w/ drone interfacing minimum-3)
NOTE: If you have low repair skills, you will need 2x Repairer, in this case take out 1 Tachyon and fit second repairer.

Why do ppl not read a post before answering it and read the already posted comments. he asks for cheap t1 fitting no big named guns and only lasers and ppl suggest using not lasers and say to fit t2 and best named.
if you want to help ppl then great but read the frickin post and see what they actually want before wasting your time

Not particularly familiar with Amarr ships but this is what I was able to pull together in Quickfit:
Sniper setup (100km)
HI: 8 * Mega Beam Laser I [1xRadio L]
MED: Sensor Booster I, 3 * Optical Tracking Computer I (possibly swap one of these for an additional sensor booster)
LO: 2 * Power Diagnostic System I, 3 * Heat Sink I, 2 * Co-Processor I
No idea how long you would be able to keep firing all those lasers though! Also, as others have pointed out, use named versions where possible!

Apoc Omni tank lvl 4 setup for angels.
4 Dual heavy beam II
4 Mega beam II
4 Cap charger II
1 LAR II
2 EANM II
1 Thermal active II
1 Explosive active II
1 Kinetic active II
1 Beta cap relay
Simple realy enough cap to run guns and tank 24/7 with gamma cristals fitted.
Insta pops NPC frigates from 30-70km and melts cruisers 20-70km with standard cristals.
Takes a high nember of SP to make a effective apoc npc beam setup.
It's great being Amarr, aint it?

Just use Afocal Lasers they use the least CPU for a cheap penny. Sometimes even cheaper then Standard T1 lasers.
7 Afocal Mega pulse / 1 Heavy Nos
AB / Cap recharge (named) / Target painter / Tracking comp
LAR (Best named is pretty cheap) 3 Named hardeners (2 Kin 1 Therm.) 3 CPR. (named)
Use Vespas to kill cruisers and frigs. Use lasers for BC's and BS's.
With named Items just buy the lower end mods and they will be quite cheap. And if you need to save CPU just buy Afocal lasers. You get a nice bonus but you don't have to spend millions of iskies for them.

For Megapulse, buy the second best named (the 3.45x damage mod ones). They're cheap and they'll do fairly good damage
High: 8 x Mega Pulse
Mid: 100mn LiF ab, 3 Cap Rechargers
Low: 2 Large Armor Rep, 2 Kinetic Hardeners, 1 Thermic hardener, 1 CPR, 1 HS
This is basically the fitting I've used for Guristas NPC'ing forever, it's not particularly fast at killing them, but due to the fact that Guristas will keep flying away from you you're not going to have fast kills with pulses.
Try fitting out with the best named dual mega beams though, it will be less damage, but the higher range will allow you to better kill the NPCs that will like to orbit at 30-40k

WTF are u on about trolling? i was doing the opposite of trolling. my point is simple, if u don't think what he's asking for is possible then explain it. if someone says can i have a setup with cheap tachyons pls then someone just replies with "yeah fit centus xxx tachyon modal blobby guns costing 1 bil each then they look like an idiot.
i am a 3 year experienced amarr player but am not arguing what they can and can't do that's not my point. also not really directed at you, more to the ppl suggesting t2 and best named tachyons which u didn't so stop thinking this is about you.
My sole point is that he asked for a cheap setup and ppl have just given a very expensive setup. that doesn't help him. if you think he needs to spend more to do the job then tell him.
oh and again i say if u read what he asked for he never asked for mission setups or 1.2mil rat busting setups. he asked for a cheap laser only setup for pve v guristas and sniping and ppl have suggested autos, blasters, t2, best named, mission setups, blah blah. this isn't directed at you but so many ppl on the forums just write gibberish without reading the post.
