I havn't heared a lot of people inventing new & fresh tech 2 items since the patch. Isn't it worth the trouble or doesn't it even work?

data interfaces seem to be a low and 0.0 security thing rather than high sec gives a reason to head to low sec. Tho keeps t2 in the alliacnes at least with supply for the rarer ones

I have seen one post of someone that found a 2 run BPC for one of the interfaces.
It was found by exploration probe in a complex in low-sec/0.0, and required hacing to access the can it was in.
It's gonna be a while yet.
But if he makes them both, you may be able to buy his spare off the market for 5 billion or so.  It's goign to be pricy until more are found.

According to the item database you need some special parts to make the data interfaces. Like 800 "electronic links" etc. Have anyone seen these?

I have indeed in some of the complexes i probed.. it's rare (found 2 power couplings) aswell tho could be lying at the sec rating.. i'm looking mostly in lowsec

About those places you need to discover with exploring, are they randomly placed after every dt, or can you go back and farm those bpc's?

One thing I think CCP did RIGHT with this is make the comlpexes temporary. That way you can't have farmers. Basically, when someone finds a complex, he should call in the cavalry and go to work gleening what they can from it.

I'm pretty sure a dev said that once the main 'objective' of the exploration site is completed (i.e. killing the npcs, retrieving a special item, mining all the roids, etc) it disappears and respawns somewhere else.
