Right,,,,I just got salvaging to lvl 2 (soon 3) and Iv tried salvaging in belts (works) and in training complexes (works) but when I try to salvage wrecks I get from missions....then nothing happens..it says "you successfully salvage but there was nothing to be salvaged" or "this item has already been salvaged",,,,,,,so my question is : can you even salvage on missions at all?
if, how? only certain type of wrecks? if so, wich ones?,,
thanks, ohh and, any info at all about salvaging (good solid information) is more then welcome

You can salvage any wreck, just not every wreck will have something in it.

yeah but how come I get stuff from 40% of all wrecks in belts? but 0% in missions?
is it level based? like I need a certain lvl in salvaging just to be able to salvage from wrecks I get fromlvl 3 missions?

apperantly you can only salvage on certain missions.....

try that link, its a salvage amount per specific mission list (an average ofcourse) and please, help this guy out.

Certain types of wrecks can not be salvaged. This has been covered in lots of posts. The basic list of rat-types that can not be salvaged is this -
Rogue drones
Mercenaries (plain mercs or Thukker mercs)
All faction Navy
structures (including turrets)

now what do the white triangles mean. Some are hollow, some are solid. Does that signafy anything?

Hollow means empty, filled means not empty.

Hollow means no standard loot (modules, ammo...) solid means the wreck does have standard loot.
There is no indication for salvage contents. You need to salvage each wreck to check for salvage items.
