So, im sitting here, thinking up the masterplan, to take over the world.
Thus i wanna use alot more drones. I only have T1 drones atm, as i never trained T2 versions. I have + mill sp into drones..
I mainly plan on taking on frigates and cruisers, 1v1. It is easy enough to get T2 medium and light drones, thats only about 1 week training time. But some say, that heavy drones do alot more damage to cruiser, then medium ones.
So, what do i wanna train? Do i wanna take 1 month, and use T1 heavy drones, until i get T2, or do i wanna train for T2 medium drones/light?
Or is it even possible to do anything usefull with drones, without T2 drones?

If you have the drone bay, heavies are almost always going to be superior to mediums or lights. However, fairly few ships have 125 m3 or more to fit 5x heavies. However, it sounds like you want to pvp, so whatever drone type you decide on, choose either the one that does thermal or kinetic damage as those are the two resists that will rarely be stacked very high on your targets.
Also food for thought, heavies won't be able to catch most frigates unless they orbit fairly close to you (I'd say within 7.5km or so). If they orbit much farther than that your [heavy] drones will just be useless.

First you wanna use 5 drones so if drone bay is 25m3 no need to think.
I would say that for frigates and cruisers all around medium are the best.
If it¦s a very fast frigate specialy a tech2 then small ones are the best if you don¦t web it a lot.
If drone bay is 75m3 then 5 of each is nice. Some replacement in case they get dead and can choose depending on opponent.

Id personally go for Minne and Gallente Spec.
Hammerheads do the most DPS and Valks are the fastest (afaik)
I would carry 5 light 5 med where possible.
