How come none of the gallente ships really compete compared to the other races when it comes to pvp?
Its just not right.

Gallente only have kin and thermal dmg give them em and explo!!! oh and dont come up with the they have drones because you know drones sucks and creates lag!!!

I ***** about blasters all the time... but even I have to shake my head at the op.
Gallente don't have it the worst, by far. Just grab a drone ship with NOS. 
And blaster ships are STILL good in groups.
Can I have some of what you are smoking?

Agreed. For an example, the Astarte is out ranged by the Ferox, a tech one ship! It needs a role bonus: +50% optimal range to medium hybrids.
Also, the Ishtar needs its drone range bonus replaced with a nos range bonus, and its medium hybrid bonus replaced with nos amount. Oh, and the myrmidon needs an extra 2 highs + grid - if you fit 6 turrets where do you put the nos? Same for the Dominix.
Oh, and then the Megathron would need something to help it in close range combat. Perhaps a role bonus to the fitting and cap need of Aurora Ominae would fix things?

one of my characters are fully amarr specialized and have since then trained up for gallente also, not to the same level yet but is much more versatile and does way more dmg.

Please ignore this post, the guy that made it obviously dosnt know ne thng about gallente ships in pvp
i have some examples
Asarte(probbally one of the best command ships in the game for over all fire power)
Megathron, fast, agile, DPS of 900+ with just large electrons fitted, 9k armour with out mods with very decent resists with the right setup.
Vindicator, probbally one of the most versatile battleships in the game, same as the megathorn, but much faster and the extra med slot helps.
Hyperion, Fast, 10k armour base, caperble of repairing 2.2k armour every 12sec's with just 2 L reps fitted, and DPS of 1000+
So if you still think gallente ships sux in combat then just please watch farjungs vid "wave of mutilation 2"
