CCP... yet another dot.com business that rips people off. like me... and maybe you.
let me ask you a fair question:
when you pay money for a product / services, do you feel it is fair you get a sorry for getting no satisfaction?
now worst... do you think it is ok that the 'sorry' becomes the norm in terms of problem solving?
I SURE DO NOT!
CCP isn't a free online game where a small community dedicate their time for the fun of it.. CCP IS A PROFITABLE BUSINESS.
a profitable business that makes promises and comes up with... apologies when they can't deliver.
now i WANT a solution to my petition, not an APOLOGY. i WANT a server that works, not a waste of days off. i WANT WHAT I PAID FOR!!!
i don't care anymore, i have no patience left for those automated answers. i just work to hard to see my time and money disapear in oblivion.. in this mascarade of a good time.
REIMBURSE NOW because lag is your responsability.
and to all those who think about buying isk for real money i say this: DON'T.
rather do like me, post here, write your anger in google, make CCP sweat as hard as we do for the hard earnt cash we gave them.

i have read other threads where like me,others are unhappy about what they get for what they pay for.
and you 2 are quite consistent in replying very fast to people's disagreements. do you actually really believe your own dellusions or maybe you work at CCP, or maybe you just dont think.
I AM EXPRESSING A VIEW WITH NO SARCASM, NOR VIOLENCE. just disapointment in the way i am being treated as a customer. and AS A PAYING CUSTOMER I AM ENTITLED to what i paid for.
now, can you answer this with clarity and no sneering?

If they'd reimburse everyone, who complains without having evidence, then the whole risk vs. reward system and death penalty would be pointless. Btw I've also a reimbursement petition running, my 1st one. If they don't reimburse me, I suck it down and go on playing, although I was quite angry about the server. That was more the reason to file that petition than to get my stuff back btw.  Anyway, if they don't reimburse me, I'll live with it. I rather prefer not to get reimbursed, in case they don't have evidence for a server problem, than see that CCPs starts to reimbure everyone, who whines loud enough.
If you pay always to be happy in EVE, you play the wrong game. EVE is a mix of fun and frustration !

i find disturbing you CCP defendors are not concerned with the game's serious problems.
also, yes you make me smile but don't be mistaken, I am not laughing.
maybe you all who are CCP familiars are having a hearty laugh but regardless I still want to know how a company that charges money can get away with daylight robbery... with just apologies.
those of you having a laugh at me are probably part of the furniture here and here a long time... not much to lose.
but me i've only been here for 2 months.
i've worked really hard at getting places in this game.. and to see it all vanish because of lag is heart wretching.
don't you realise there is something really wrong here? or maybe you guys are quite happy living in mess. so long as it doesnt affect you ;-)

Bottom line is this. Pay for it if you think you get your money's worth. If your unhappy stop paying for it. If your happy keep paying for it. Unlike a fire and forget game most of the expense in EVE is in the subscription fees, so if you don't like the product you have a remedy. Personally, I think EVE is the best game on the market, and between the time I get to play and the free content expansions I feel I get my money's worth, which is why I pay for five accounts, because I love the game and its worth every penny.

As a hard worker in RL i doubt you have the time to play other MMORGs and compare. I also assume this is your 1st MMORG you play. EVE is an example for good customer support, so if you get annoyed, dont even try to play another MMORG. Its just not the kind of game you want to play.
My advice: Dont take it too serious, its just a game and you can have fun without ISK. Meet the right people.
I lost 150m because of the T1-->T2 joke, warped into missions with myshiny new toy and rather surfed the web instead of killing rats  Im still here, because its fun.
Get over it and stay or keep your blood pressure down and quit.
And... never fly what you cant afford to loose. never.

Could have been your isp, in which case there's nothing CCP could have done about it...
Seriously though, you're going to experience lag sometimes in these kinds of games. When you play a MMO you will sometimes get screwed because of lag. Just like sometimes when you're driving around in your brand new truck the transmission will leap into the nearest snow bank and ruin your day.
It happens It sucks Nobody likes it
But you have to decide if that's bad enough to overshadow the things you like.

CCP has tools inplace that monitor the servers LAG is not always the servers we play a game that runs on the information super highway sometimes it burps when something between you and the game goes down has to find a new route or simply not work
my route is 10ms all the way to london then jumps to 200 nothing ccp can do about the highway other than send in reports of problems and I am sure they do.

You get what you pay for! If you read the EULA you will see you pay for access to the server to play on. And you do have access to them as long you pay. They also say that you also accept certain ammount of downtimes, like necesary scheduled downtimes, force majeure, downtimes reasoned in critical bug fixes etc.
So stop whining. CCP know there is a few bugs, and whines like these dont help at all!

You pay for access to the server, and the game. You get that. That's all the EULA entitles you too.
Also, I'm sure CCP would love to reimburse people's lag losses, but they can't, simply because there is no way to see which losses are lag related and which aren't. If they'd reimburse everyone who would claim to have been killed due to lag, people who died fairly would just petition it, claim lag, and get reimbursed.
