Few days ago while shooting POS I was barely able to run 5 lasers on autorepeat (had to turn off one from time to time). Today I've had enought cap to run 6 lasers non-stop. Same fit, same crystals and no avatar in gang =).
It's well known that maximum recharge rate can be found as 2.5*Capacitor_Volume/Recharge_Time. According to my measurements now peak recharge is like 2.875*Capacitor_Volume/Recharge_Time.
Has anyone noticed the difference?

I believe people have been saying that the old cap bug is back. Pretty much means that perma tanks/ganks may not hold if the bug shows its ugly head & it can happen any time any where.

they increased size and recharge time by 50% and may have inadvertantly triggered the old bug in doing so =P

Pure cap recharge rate hasn't changed one bit, as both maxcap and recharge time were boosted by the same 25%. However, it's a bit worying that amarr pilots seem to keep reporting they run out of cap with setups that ran just fine before. No other race complains about such problems.
So all in all, I can only guess it's something buggy with amarr ships, or lasers in general, or maybe the cap use bonus for lasers on some amarr ships is broken, no idea. _ My skills | Mod/Rig stacknerfing explained |

I have better recharge than before, not worse. I've checked all parameter that could affect my situation. Ship capacitor capacity, recharge rate, laser activation cost and rate of fire - all the same as before and all ship\skill bonuses work as they should.
And about old cap bug: it was only a display issue that didn't affect actual amount of cap if the memory serves me well.

Increasing cap maximum doesnt increase recharge time as well so by increasing your cap max by say 25% you get close to a 25% recharge boost as well.
This is why the cap maximum rig is far superior to the cap recharge rig, you lose something along the lines of 0.82% recharge when going with the cap max rig vs the cap recharge but gain 20% flat maximum. so 19.18% recharge and 20% cap or 20% recharge? Obvious choice imo.
Then again there might be something that I dont know about...
