What are you thoughts on this vessel. Dont think so much about the fact that its 40 mill.. just about the ship in itself.
Better as an armor tanker or a shield tanker?
Good in what situations, bad in what situations?

I like this ship as a gate camper in 0.0. I haven't fitted any tank but 6x t2 720s and a bunch of damage mods makes this thing quite deadly to frigs/cruisers at ~80km. I was popping cruisers before battleships could lock them.
I tried the vagacane with 220s, nanos, and inertstabs. I didnt really find it to have much damage but it was fun to fly a BC at almost 2km/s.
The one sign about this ship that I should tell you is that I haven't flown any of my other ships since I've gotten into it a few days ago.
The only other tier 2 BC I've flown is the drake, which has a great tank but mediocre damage with heavies and is slow and not much fun to fly.

Tremor M. Optimal is somewhere around 70km and falloff is over 20km.

Try hurricane with named 100mn MWD + 3x inert stabs ( betas ) + nanofiber. + stuff to make weapons fit. Don't forget a cap injector with 800 charges as well.
The 10mn MWD version is the stabbacane, 100mn MWD = vagacane.

I don't claim to know much about these ships, but I do know that one of them with some T2 Vulcan Autocannons, an injector, 1600 plate, medium rep, web, scram, and a damage mod is one of the few ships that can break my double rep, quadruple hardened Myrmidon.
If it hadn't been for my drake corp mate warping in as I was working on the guys armor (with t2 ogres) I woulda been toast. I ended the fight at 50% structure. The T2 guns and T2 Warriors(?) he was using along with whatever launchers were churning out some disgusting damage.

You had no weapons fitted? Myrmidon have higher DPS than hurricane. Thta setup is one of the worst to use against a myrmidon (or the good setups)
If brute force doesn't solve your problem.. then you are not using enough!! |

I'm still trying to figure out if I like this thing more than my shield boosted Cyclone for missions.
I do like it that its all out Throwing Bullets, especially with gyros,..etc,..
And I am not a lover of the design,..Star Destroyer or not. It just doesnt look like a rugged, welded together, no frills, no girlie color, Brutor ship.
More like some Caldari with an odd knack for symetry made it. Booo,..!
