Cupdeez Vengeance of the Fallen Imperium Alliance	Posted - 2006.12.19 17:41:00 - [1] Chimera Carrier Down! It was a Monday night around 10 PM and IMP was looking for trouble. We didnÆt think VI was going to give us a fight since we fought them a few hours before. We took the battle to them in M-M and sealed another victory. As we ran around Great Wildlands looking for anything to kill word came inà Four Hostiles in U3K!! Spirtfall was on the comms and requested ship types and pilots names. The report was a few cruisers class ships with some interceptors. Out fleet was small and consisted of a sacrilege, lachesis, arazu, curse, sleipnir, and the normal interceptors/Cruisers. As we moved into position waiting on information on the hostiles in U3K more reports started to come in of a carrier on scanner! We figured the carrier was at the VI player owned station sending the fighters to aid the VI NPC hunters but we probed it anyways right? Our covert ops reports he has the Chimera Carrier in asteroid belt VIII-13. The order goes inà. Everyone jump and warp to the belt at 0 kmÆs interceptors get the carrier locked down NOW!!! One point, two points, and 4 points Spirtfall yells the drones are primary take the drones down first. Waves of drones keep coming at us 1st the small drones, then the medium drones, then the heavy drones, then the sentry drones, finally his last wave of drones are fighters them selves. The recon ships were being flown by some of the best pilots IMP has to offer consisting of Maddog, DÆargo, and Cupdeez making this battle more one sided but we still didnÆt have enough fire power. The sleipnir was our hardest hitter and with out more fire power VI might have a chance to get re-enforcements. The call goes out; all available alliance members we need more battle ships to kill this carrier!!! Finally our re-enforcements arrive and with the amount of damage we are doing the carrier slowly starts going down. DÆargo comes over the comms and informs us the carrier no longer has any capacitor left. After this comes through the carrier goes down extremely fast. Yet another victory for IMP.
