With news that Imperial Succession Committee has been selected, House Uriza requests for all to pray for grace upon this group as they move forward to facilitate Succession during this time of Sede Vacante.
As such, House Uriza, Holders the Empire, wish to present to Imperial Succession Committee a researched white paper on regarding bringing The Khanid in Full Union with The Holy Amarr Empire. This document seeks to collect these issues which complicate the matter and to hopefully being about resolution for the greater good of all. Grash Uriza,
=============
A White Paper on Bringing The Khanid in Full Union with The Holy Amarr Empire
The issue at hand is House of Khanid are a member of the Privy Council per directions of Our Servant of God Her Royal Highness Saint Empress Jamyl I. They were not announced as returned as a Heir. This point has been left in question unresolved. With the announcement of Trials for Succession, it will serve good for all for this issue to be resolved and put to rest.
In this document House Uriza takes the position that they are amendable to the restoration of House of Khanid as as a Heir to the Seat of the Empire. However for this to take place, House Uriza puts forth that the Khanid must return in full union. The issues below are viewed as roadblocks to full union. If these issues are left unresolved, it would serve as a sever impediment to the Khanid to make a legitimate clam to the Seat of the Emperor. Simply Put, this is a situation created by the Khanid themselves and a situation in which only they can resolve it.
1.House of Khanid must restate their subjugation to the authority of Our Holy Amarr Empire in all matters and pledge allegiance to the one who will fill the Sede Vacante Seat of the Emperor. However, if independence is the true desire of the Khanid they must realize that independence comes at the cost of the house being restored as having a legitimate claim to the seat of the Empire.
2. The Right of The House of Tash-Murkon to the Seat of the Emperor is not affected in any manner with consideration with a restored House of Khanid to a claim to the Seat of the Empire. If the Khanid are restored, they should become the 6th Heir, just as much there are now six houses on the Privy Council. In a show of good will, The House of Khanid should publicly acknowledge The House of Tash-Murkon as legitimate Heirs to The Seat of Our Holy Amarr Empire if they seek restoration.
3.The House of Khanid must dispense with the trappings of regality they took on over 300 years ago. To continue with these trappings, it is a clear sign of the House of Khanid that their independence will continue and\or has no intention of seriously engaging in the norms which is expected of an Heir.
4.The restrictions placed upon those who supported Dakos must cease. Simply, the crux of the dispute with your brother is resolved and only those in poor taste or an oaf would suggest otherwise. Since then you have become to known for care in which you have protected and guided them. It would do well to resolve this old family feud to show that you have full trust in your own family to stand united. More importantly, it would serve the house to charge these individuals with the duty of being ambassadors to attest of your magnanimity and commitment of unity to the Empire through an interchange among other Houses.
5.Garkeh Khanid, Known as King Khanid II, The recognized head of the House of Khanid cannot enter the upcoming Trial of Succession for the Seat of the Empire because he has failed already in a previous Trial of Succession. At the time of this writing there no divine sign as determined by the Theology Council to suggest otherwise a dispensation for Shathol'Syn from that previous trial. It is important to note that ensuring all heirs who fail to become Emperor to undertake ShatholGÇÖSynthat was the charge and duty of my GrandparentsGÇÖ generation at Trial of Succession in question. Thus a matter of recognizing their failure, there is no demand for Garkeh undertake Shathol'Syn.

Lord Uriza,
As for reunification with Khanid Kingdom, I point you to the words of our late Empress: "Faithful of Amarr, it has been our pleasure to welcome our noble brother Khanid home to Amarr Prime. It is now our pleasure to welcome his majesty and all the people of the Khanid Kingdom back into the embrace of Holy Amarr. Our noble brother has long stood sentinel over the outer marches of God's domain and we know that the requirements of his faith have oft-times made it a painful vigil. Now his patience is rewarded, and a true and faithful son of Amarr stands once more before the people"

So,of what reunification you speak of?
As for King Khanid to be restored as one of the Royal Heirs...this is for Privy and Theology Councils to decide. I would expect that Amarr Holder should know proper hierarchy in our Holy Empire and respect it.

I'll admit this is not clear: If you want to keep your King and your independence, then so be it. And thus this white paper is moot.
On the other hand, if your kingdom has aspirations to put a legitimate claim to seat of the Empire... Well, let's talk cousins. |

The white paper was sent to the Imperial Succession Committee because it is the Court Chamberlain Haromi's working committee on matters related to Succession. As reported, the Lord Haromi has gone to great lengths to ensure a board base of experience and viewpoint on this committee. With the Privy Council and Theology Council are represented in the Imperial Succession Committee. Thus any decision made by this committee is backed by the Court Chamberlain who has over sight over both councils. I understand that due to the Ad Hoc and extra-ordinary purpose of the Committee, there may be confusion regarding hierarchy. I hope this helps you clear up any confusion.
I do admit that far before my birth, The practice of providing information directly in the manner has fallen out of favor in my family. However given the time we live in now, it is more important than ever that our house, such as all holders, have a voice to provide aid and information for those in authority to ensure they are not acting on matters in an insular way. Simply put, it's a affirmation in our duty to covenant between the Emperor and his holders as set forth and established by Emperor Amash-Akura himself. |

You bring some interesting points to the table.
While your fervour in presenting a possible 'solution' is... applaudable? I find that, like others, you seem to have this idea that as a Holder you may dictate to the Imperial Hierarchy.
The Kingdom stands strong and proud as it is, we have shown that we possess the strength and determination to stand unguided for hundreds of years, thus showing by Divine Right that King Khanid II was destined to rule.
It is my hope, that should the Empire deign to welcome the Khanid House back as a Royal House that his Majesty would establish it.
I do however seriously doubt that he would take kindly to any kind of surrender of his land and people in 'recompense'
Thought it would do well for us to ALL realise, this is purely hypothetical. The Theology and Privy Councils will decide on this matter in their own due time. |

Young Lord Grash, how nice to hear from you again. I'm so very pleased that our Kingdom continues to intrigue you to the point of distraction. I've been very busy with the war myself...you do remember we're at war, yes? But I thought if you could pen this very impressive paper, the least I could do is dictate a response.
We of the Kingdom have already discussed this. At length. Had you bothered to check with, well, most anyone from Khanid, you might have discovered that this paper, while impressive, is fairly unnecessary. King Khanid Is not currently pursuing his status as an heir. Should he decide to do so, then this topic might bear a bit more relevance. I should however suggest to you in the strongest possible terms that you are in no position to say that Khanid "must return" or really, make any demands of us or our King. I should warn you, the last person of lower rank who came to this forum thinking her opinion on the Kingdom mattered, almost had her pretty little head put on a spike at the behest of a Royal Navy Admiral. Moving forward, you might want to consider your own pretty little head. Still, I will address your points:
In brief,
1. Again, you use the word "must." Diplomacy 101 would suggest that is is an unfortunate choice of words. Khanid will or won't bend knee to the victor of the succession trials. You do not have any say in this matter. Only God and King Khanid does. Either Khanid will support the new Emperor and we will remain as is within the Empire or he won't and we will not.
2. Five seems to be an important number regarding the trials. I invite you to look into it. If the Tash-Murkons were jumped up to become the fifth House, then one of the Houses would have to be reduced should Khanid take its place again. Once more, this is a decision far past any of our pay grades.
3. "Trappings" is another unfortunate choice of words on your part. I invite you to go visit the memorials of the countless Amarr who died trying to prevent our secession from the Empire. They fought well, they died well and in the end, they failed. We prevailed as a Kingdom by the Grace of God. Your words besmirch their honor as well as ours.
4. Dakos was a traitor and given the chance he would have been a kinslayer. That you support those who were also proven to be traitors is highly suspicious. You claim to be on the side of the Empire in our war against the Drifters for their assassination of the Empress, yet you would side with those who are cut from the same dishonorable cloth? And you call yourselves loyal to the Empire?
5. Your first sentence is complete fabrication. And quite frankly, if the late Jamyl Sarum could rule, King Khanid, could most certainly rule. It is important to note that your opinion is this matter carries as much weight as your severed head in geosynchronous orbit would. The Trials and the Council and God will determine who is fit to rule.
I will once again remind you that we, Khanid and Amarr alike, are at war with a powerful external enemy. Your support of the Dakos traitors and your continued attempts to drive a wedge between loyal Khanid and loyal Amarrians is making you look very much like a House of traitors and opportunists who want nothing more than to see strife between the Kingdom and Empire. And you attempt this with all the political grace of a spastic Brutor on Drop. Which also leads me to think that perhaps your House, like the Matari, is looking to benefit from the dangers arrayed against the Empire and Kingdom.
In the future, the next time you decide to speak, perhaps you should ask one of your betters (there are trillions of them to choose from) if opening the festering, mewling orifice in what you call your face is really a good idea. No matter your intent, your words are as misshapen and twisted as a pile of fornicating fedos after an antimatter explosion. Is it possible that you were spawned in a frenzied mindflood orgy somewhere in Gallente? It would explain a lot of the things you have said in this and other threads. If you truly speak for your House, then I certainly hope that the lot of you can find some way to blindly shamble and grope your collective way to a line of reasoning that does not make you appear to be a collection of traitors.
In short, I must caution you that in the future, you might want to discuss the matters of Khanid with the people of Khanid before coming to this venue to make an abject fool of yourself. The business of Khanid is quite frankly, not your business little Lordling.
We look forward to your apology.

Totally.
The first big incursion of Drifter forces after the Empress' assassination occurred in Khanid LoSec. And there were several hundred Khanid serving on the Empress' ship. We want the bastards as much as anyone.
