How are you supposed to install these things if they can't dock? They have rigs slots.

You cant see the rig slots though so you cant actually fit them at POSes

You can't fit them via a carrier nearby nor a ship maintenance array.

At the current moment it is not possible to fit a rig to a Mothership or Titan. Right now there is no definitive answer if this is actually by design or an oversight on our part. There have been many discussions internally for reasons to have it, and reasons not to have it. If I can manage to get an update about this I will post it, but for now you'll have to live without rigs for your toys.

This certainly has to be an oversight.
With the cost of rigs being what they are capital ships are one of the few ships that make economic sense to put rigs on.
In addition rigs are the only thing that make the capital ships very useful.

Considering there are Motherships that are docked in TQ which have the ability to fit those rigs, it better be an oversight.

The fact that the fitting details of motherships and titans show a certain amount of Rig Slots and the max calibration the ships have for fitting rigs clearly indicates it's an oversight and not by design. If it was by design CCP wouldn't have configured Rig Slots and calibration for Motherships and Titans.

The entire rig systems seem to have been 'Add 3 slots to all ships + 400 calibration' then remove it from the freighter. Then it was the end of that work day for the dev guy, so he went home and forgot about it.
