During the normal maintenance period, small client and server patches will be applied to Tranquility. These patches will resolve the current memory leak that has been an issue for some members of the EVE community. Patch notes will not be posted for the patch, as no game play changes are being made. It is recommended to players suffering from the memory leak that they delete the contents of the IMG folder (located in the cache > Browser folder) after applying the patch.
An extended downtime should not be necessary as a result of the patch application.

Some insight into the cause for the recent CTDs EVE players have been experiencing can be found in Redundancy's new Dev Blog.
The e-mail notification issue is not slated for resolution in tomorrow's patch. The Devs are aware of the issue and working on a fix.

Do you guys also notice that since this last big kali patch, the in space camera view resets to fully zoomed in after every jump between systems. Before patch, you'd undock from stn, zoom out your camera view to your prefered distance, and travel system to system while it would stay exactly the distance you set it at. Im not sure if this is a bug, but its extremely annoying, especialy in pvp when your jumping into a hostile gate camp to fight.

As I read correctly problem is client tries to render broken JPG images downloaded from correct one source. Why can't you use some sort of checksum (MD5 or even something simplier) and DO NOT render at all broken files? At least you will get rid of some of problems.

Or give us a setting to turn off these image downloads. Solves both client lag and the CTD problem.

How about not being able to scan for objects in COSMOS missions?
If it wasn't for kind neighbors who book marked these in the past, some missions would be completely impossible to finish.

Is this going to resolve the Intel 975 chipset, Realtek sound bug that causes a computer to re-boot when hardware acceleration is enabled as discussed in the following thread:

What about the evemail bug? It's driving us INSANE. Do you know what it's like to have to individually mark hundreds of emails as read over and over again EVERY time you log on?

Thank you for working dilligently on the constant updates. The mail one is a kicker. Also the EVE Insider Item Database has no post Revelations Updates. I'm sure i'm in the wrong spot for this but /shrug. Might as well get the word out.

I hope that is a joke. Fixing that should be high on your list of priorities, as it was not a problem till you patched the patch that patched the patch that patched the patch.... (repeat ad infinitum)
Seems everytime you try and fix something you break something else.
Get that mail bugged fixed asap, it must be a nightmare for CEO's who have more important things to be doing than trolling though their mails everytime they log in, looking for something important.
CCP and thier 10yr plan, at this rate you'll have no players in 10 months.

there also needs to be done something to salvaging. I have lvl4 salvaging, but in the last 10 missions I haven't been able to salvage a singlw item. The salvagers runs.....but always comes up with nothing to be salvaged every time I like going south. Feels like going downhill. |
