Edited by: Bobby Atlas on 21/12/2006 05:36:23 When fitting the Auxiliary Nano Pump I rig (15% hp rep bonus) to a dreadnaught (moros); the max velocity decreases however the repair amount on the repairer does not increase. If you swap out the cap armor repairer for a large or any other armor reper the hp repair attribute properly increases by 15% in its showinfo.

also this morning took myself into armor dmg and repaired - reping is only 9600 still, so it not just a cosmetic attribute bug.

Nothing that affects modules affects 'capital' modules.
Same goes for cap shield boosters and crystal implants etc, and gang mods that affect rep speed / amount. This is not unique to rigs.
No word on whether this is a bug in the game or the description.

cause it's plain intentional game mechanic the sad thing is, there is nothing ingame that clarifies the "boosting" of capital mods versus normal mods
especially capital ships. there's plenty surprises for those boarding one the first time without having wasted several hours on the forums :)

it wont work, just like even basic implants the3-5% never worked and nor will the rigs.. which is quite pathetic if you ask me... everything else works but that? what gives... i dont think its right just like i dont think any of those restrictions are right... esp not the warfare stuff since like on carriers they hve a bonus to them and yet they do not effect themseleves, some of hte modules quite sad

Any more information about this? You don't find out until after you have bought and installed the Auxiliary Nano Pump that it does not work!!!!!

Rigs which affect repair amounts , do not affect "Capital" sized modules. The description is a little vague , but states it affects the armor repairers , which does NOT include "Capital armor repairer".
The rigs which will work on captial class ships are the capacitor recharge rigs , armor AMOUNT rigs , shield AMOUNT rigs , base shield recharge, etc. Rigs which affect MODULES , not the ships themselves, do not work on "Capital" class modules.

This isn't a bug, so there's no need to waste the GMs time by petitioning. The same thing applies to implants, crystal sets for instance.
