smiity T	Posted - 2006.12.21 13:46:00 - [1] Havent seen any punisher setup topics since RMR so i'll just make one highs: 3x 200mm AC(emp) (fusion) (t2 if possible) 1x named Nos meds: AB/7.5k scram, Webber lows: 1x small t2 small repper 1x Gyro II or t1 200mm rolled tungsten plate this is my pvp/ 0.0 rattin setup it does a little well but i prefer the rifter for 0.0 rattin since it doesent take alot of damage when ur gettin into range of those 500k+ BS spawns. post ur own little setups if u will

Pick your target and T1 frigs are golden.

A full gankage of doom enyo for expample will still need some time to break BSs' tanks. I killed a 10mil bounty serp with one the other day, but almost fall asleep doing it. A cerberus/raven/almost any BS, HAC etc/many others do the job much quicker and easier. Of course if u need to sneak in there you may want to use a frig (although i still think I would prefer an mwd rax), so, then u also need insta dmg and not having to worry about scouping drones, so ishkur is a no-no. Best bet would be a gank-ranis with neuts I think... It would kill BS's, wouldn't have to tank a lot AND be able to get out if bad ppl showed up..... Kali IS the goddess of destruction after all

Exogene	Posted - 2006.12.22 14:06:00 - [13] To the OP: Silly to use ammo using turrets on a frigate for 0.0 ratting, just can't be bothered with going bck for ammo all the time, let alone nibble on a BS tank for 15 minutes. You may as well use Medium Pulses and drop that scrambler and possibly the rolled tungsten too.

Admittly a BS kills faster but no where as much fun, or as easy to get round gate camps with. Punisher fit 3*150 AC, 1 small Nos Scrmabler, Web Small armour rep II, Energized adaptive II, Kinteic Res plate, 400mm plate Just killed a Manticore before making this post, so i know it works

I will propose a laser setup. 3 duel light beam, 1 small nos AB, web (scram if you are out for some pvp) 1 small rep and 1 rat spacific hardener (so thats 2 hardeners) and a Heat sink. (for pvp, one EANM and 2 HS is what I would recommend). To be honest, you can rat in 0.0 in a Retribution with ease if you kill the small ships quickly (the big ones can't hit you) and a punisher may not make it if you mess up the transversal on the approach. But its cheap, and youj learn a lot flying one. I will say though - stick with lasers. . .they are a lot better then many think they are - waay better then the lowest dps wepon in the game (projectiles).

I have fun, and sure being able to kill a 1.5m 'npc' bs in a punisher with ac's might give you boasting rights if thats at all possible, but not something id do more than once. Oh and a condor ? yes any ship with a turret/missile slot can kill stuff solo just dont make out its a solopwnmobile that doesnt include hours of waiting for the right stuff you can actually pop in it. Yes this is an alt as well, if you havent realised by the name his my lemming. My main is a cowardly miner/lvl 4 ***** who doesnt wish to suffer any retribution for his trolling.
