maybe clear browsercache under cache\browser\img cachecleaner usually doesnt clear that folder, and that contains the jpgs ---

Originally by: Prant We had a patch scheduled and it didn't pass Qa and now we have an optional patch. Is the optional patch optional because it didn't pass QA?

@kieron/others ;)
...wondering... if this is an optional patch (not forcing ppl to install), does that mean you will do a multi or two patch version for the next client patch? since you need to serve 2 official clientserver versions then :-P ---

@ironhack
fixing "someones eve" is sometimes a hard work.
for instance, just to get you started with, tell me - what pc (intel? amd?) - what os, service pack - what motherboard - what soundsystem

hmm via system, i bet onboard sound... tried disabling the sound for a chance?
its also recommned usually to install the hyperion Via-Drivers for your system and not use the "default"
also check for updated sound drivers, you shoudl be able to find em on www.viaarena.com aswell, but not 100% sure,and atm too tired to check

A few new issues: - When viewing the starmap and having it display the Statistics 'Pirate and police ships destroyed last 24 hours' it appears that the number of ships destroyed is not reset. Unless of cause they have destroyed 42598 ships in the Saila system, and over 1000 ships in most of the systems in Empire. - When jumping through a gate while having the starmap displayed the flatten starmap loses its fixed and can now be rotated like the 3D starmap. - Also after jumping through a gate while having the starmap. When you return to the ship view, your ships model is displayed despite being cloaked by the stargate. Also the cloaked model is being displayed. So the ship is more reflective than usual.
- ye, the starmap view sometimes sucks when a sessionchange occurs, all sorts of strange effects can happen
hmm, ye policeship view, youre right, its quie a few.. but on the other hand NOW you can see in which system is the least ratting ;)
the cloak issue i noticed yesterday first time first hand. guess in a few days (prohably around 1.5 weeks from nwo) we can expect some patch
@phamnuven: i never had ANY soudnissues, never, evne with the "dreaded" (but good) soundblaster card. can even run 2-3 clients WITH sound
