Cap Recharger II - BPO Auction
It is my distinct pleasure to publicly offer, on behalf of a corp member, one of the most valuable blueprints in EVE.
I, along with the many folks I have personally worked with in the past (feel free to sign below), are proud to confirm the validity of this auction. (Screenshot: http://lotka.org/cap2.jpg)
Auction end: Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 0:00 EVE time
Starting bid: 19 billion ISKMinimum increment: 5 billion ISK
The reserve is hidden. If the reserve is not met, the highest bidder will be notified via in-game convo at the conclusion of the auction. The item is located in Sinq Laison.

i guess it all depends on how invention progresses along, at the moment, this is still a license to print isk, and will be as long as invention isnt widespread

AFAIK the last BPO offering a comparable level of profit/month than this one (was it a sensor booster II? Something like that), sold at 80 billions.

Nothing at all, The build cost is negligible.. even if they went back to the old days of 10mill per unit your profits would be insane

The named tech 1 was given a boost in a recent patch and is as good as the tech II, albeit there are never enough of those on the market when you want them, so this BPO is probably worth a few billion for someone willing to globally spread the module and not just sell it in one gateway empire hub. 19 thou is a little steep. Thou good luck to the seller

This blueprint is worth at least 100bil+, even though new ones were seeded, it's not enough to meet the demand. Sure prices may go down, but they'll still sell for well over production cost.

If I were him I would have used the profits made for 6months to buy ore to make more. I would stockpile them till I had enough to keep feeding the market for years. I would then sell the BPO. What better way to store isk? Good luck with the sale! |

Cap recharger IIs are going for around 20 mil now, give or take a few mil. But assume its 20 to keep the number even, the blue print only takes an hour to produce one cap recharger and around 50k isk in total build cost. Thats pretty much 500 mil a day from this little blueprint for about 1.2 mil in build costs. Start bidding guys its a good deal to get your hands on this little devil!

By my calculations using a large pos to build cap IIs you can make 36 a day, sell them at 20m (makes 19m isk profit), 30 days in a month... that is 20,520 Million or you could do 365 days in a year and earn 249,660 Million isk. (Lamans terms that is 20bill a month or about 250billion a year, this bpo should go for at least 125billion)

They dropped many in the last BPO lottery so the price is going down on CapT2 ....and you cant sell as many you make if you make 36 a day. Just look at the market HACs and everything slovly going soen in price....the only thing foing up is Charachters!!

I got a cap2 bpo a couple weeks ago and i can only build 27 day with max building skills, etc....at less than retail prices the bpo earns roughly 12bil a month....I wouldnt sell mine for anything. They take hardly anything to build and I just buy the build cost on the market and just watch them pop out. ROFL If you plan on playing the game for any length of time then keeping the bpo and selling the item is the best way to go. the value of these things has held strong for well over a year. I understand that the more bpo's released gives the "opportunity" for decreased prices but hasn't happened yet :P

Thats because you are building in station. If you put up a POS and produce them there you will make over 40-45 per day

Your entitled to your opinion. But the reserve was truley at 135 billion. Nebba would not have helped me with this auction if it were not a legitimate one. Anyways, if it had gone that high i would have gladly let it go, that kind of money is too hard to not take emmidietly. Thats something im sure everyone could agree on at least.

Alternatively, it really was for auction, but the intended reserve was always intended to be 15 billion higher than the highest offer to milk every last ISK out of it.

Anyone else think this is funny now? Cap Recharger IIs are 275% cheaper today than they were at the time of this auction. I don't think that there's anyone who would pay 100 billion for a Cap Recharger II BPO now, let alone the 140 billion that was offered in December.
