Hi all, I would like your opinion on this fit for Drake and also if there are any missions I should avoid before I can fit more tier 2 equipment:
I have around 3,2 mil SP mosty dedicated on missiles and shields

i would have 2 BCS T2, instaed of 3 T1's. and at least the x3200 heavy launcher, or T2 if you can afford. to be honest, with your current setup, you wont get any problems on L3's as long as you are a half decent pilot

I had no problems with lvl 3's ina Drake at all, with 7 Limos heavy launchers, and on many missions, I could easily drop one launcher to fit 2 salvager and a tractor.
As for shields, I rarely fitted more than one large extender (F-59 was my large T1 extender of choice), but made sure I had two rat specific actives and two passives for a bit of overkill. toss on a AB to round out the mids and no problem.
Lows were 3 T2 BCS and a nano. (Edit - Why 3 T2? because I could and a 8.18 second RoF is fun!)
If you drop two of the large x-tenders, you won't need the RCU.
Honestly, the missions were almost too damn easy. Spoiled the hell out of me and now I have to work at it on Lvl 4s in a Raven. ;)
Even Blockade was no real problem, had to warp out a few times, but no big deal, just make sure you dont hit the trigger spawns and it is cake.

As I can do all lvl 3's in a Cyclone, your tier 2 BC should not have any problem at all.

i am currently running lv3 in a ferox will i make back the 50 mill i need to upgrade to a drake or am i just as well plugging away with my ferox till i get into a raven or are they that much better i need one ?

First of all, it will be a little more than 50 million, and yes you will make it back. I was making 10-20 million on bad nights, over 40 on good nights running 2-5 missions a session. I basically ran them until i had 50k LP for a half decent reward from the agent before I moved on.
Do you NEED one for lvl 3s? No. Your Ferox will do just fine, but you can really crank them out by upgrading to a Drake. A Drake can make them almost too easy. As for the Raven question, I just started doing level 4's in a Raven, and plan on well over 150 mill (200+ mill to make sure you are not completely broke, there is ALWAYS something you find you need later) to fit it and insure it properly before starting in on them.
Adn don't take Enemies Abound as your first lvl 4. Stupid warp jamming Gallente.
