I can fly the hell out of a Vaga and have huge success. A Slep, yep almost always win against virtually anything no problem. But the Muninn here confuses me a bit at close range.
Long range...got it covered. 5x's 720 II's (whatever in the last 2 slots for highs)
2 sensor booster II's and LSExtender II in the mids(could change the extender but like the oh crap I need a little hit point boost mod there
2 gyro II's, 2 trk Enhancer II's, and a PDU II to assist the Extender.
I get optimal around 100+ or so and do decent DPS for long range
Now, the close range Muninn.
I like it passive and higher DPS so I have been going w/ shield tank passively.
Highs: 5x's 425 II's AC NOS II's Mids: 10 MWD II, 2x's Lrg SExtender II's (yes, I have a renta tackler lol, to hold my target down or run my alt to do so) Lows: 3x's Gyro II's, and PDU II's to run out the rest or maybe a dmg control for a small boost to resist and that possibly lucky chance the 50% resist on the hull might save my ars.
Close range against other HACS I pwn stuff in a Vaga, no problem and yes I know it is superior, but due to cost I'm trying to make the close range muninn work. But I'm hard up to attempt an armor tank because dmg. mods are all to important to Minnies. If ya want to smack my close range setup around and make some suggestions or if you've found some good ideas let me know. I'm having success long range with it. The damn close range seems tough though. I seem to get close to victory but fall kinda short.

12k hp with ok resists, decent damage output

you compare the vaga with a muninn...hmm...
compare it with a deimos or thorax.

Who compared a Vaga with a Muninn? They dont compare to me. I said the Vaga is superior, but because the Vaga is so costly, was looking into Muninns close range. Just some ideas to toy with thats all. But, anyone have anything more concrete and valuable to add. I mean the passiv shield tank dmg mod deal works alright, but I have not really tested the Muninn so much, just seeking ideas to try here and there, and make a succesful ship out of it. It's only 125mill cheaper than the Vaga. So I was looking for a change until the market gets more friendly w/ the Vaga. Or is it best to just stay at range in the Muninn?

Okay lol. So basically the moral to the thread is, Muninn sux at close range use a hurricane lol. Well, yea I do great in the Hurricane...I mean if your fast and maintain range utilizing falloff with autos it owns, but curiosity killed me on this one and was just wondering if folks came to the same conclusion I did.
