Just noticed this skill, I thought CCP had limited drones to 5 active.
It appears one can launch up to 10 drones again? Or is this skill only for carriers?
Can you launch 10 drones off a Vexor or Domi?

Drone Unit Description "
Gives you one extra drone. You need Advanced Drone Interfacing to use this module, it gives you the ability to fit one drone control unit per level.
99% Reduction in CPU requirement when fitted to carriers and motherships."
So if I understand correctly this is only for carriers and motherships, to be able to control up to 10 drones, Vexors and Domis are limited to 5 max.

All non capital ships are limited to 5 drones (excluding the Guardian Vexxor) This lets carriers and motherships (AKA the really big drone ships) use the drone control units, which let them use more fighters/drones.

look at the cpu fitting on the drone controll unit... and think if u can fit it on a BS.. let alone a cruiser

Actually, the Nyx is capable of a total of 25 fighters with Carrier 5 and Adv Drone Int 5. Talk about being pwnd!

Yeah, carriers and motherships are able to field more fighters based on the Carrier skill, plus the 5 from Drones V, and however many drone control units they have (based on the advanced drone interfacing skill)
