Yeah, I mentioned that explicitly way back in post #26, actually. 
Anyway, we're still having trit problems (I know you still feel bad for me son), but our contracted mining corp says they are indeed working on the situation, and we got enough from our buy order to re-stock our stuff in the in-between time.

Just in case nobody noticed the top post, I am not selling any more of the shares at this time.
Anyway, I do believe I owe all of my investors some money, don't I?
We got off to a rather slow start and we've just started learning some lessons. Still, a dividend of 43,901,687 ISK has been issued, coming out to about a 0.88% ROI in the opening month.
Plans to improve upon the current state of affairs involve producing a few battleships (which haven't been built yet due to difficulties procuring low-end minerals) and increasing the variety of ammunition the corporation can sell. Likewise, for March, I am wanting to set up shop in a second system.
Still, if there are any investors not satisfied with the current state of affairs, I am willing to buy back their shares at their initial selling value. If you are interested in doing this, send me an Evemail but do NOT just send the shares, as I will be unable to verify who sent me the shares otherwise and will NOT pay. You have been warned: send me an Evemail, not the shares.

Just to update everybody, I haven't been on Eve too much because after I got back from Austin I got sick and so got behind on my school work. After Tuesday everything should be returning back to normal for me, so that's a relief to me, and others I'm sure.

I really don't want to do this, but it has to be done.
Though the DERTC project is full of promise to be profitable, I have been utterly unable to bring any sizeable amount of people into the corporation. Everybody wants 0.0, and DERTC just can't offer that. I could run the corp by myself, but that's just a lonely job and has really killed my enjoyment of the game.
Fortunately the corp never lost any money, so I won't have to pay anything out of pocket to re-purchase everybody's shares. To alert any shareholders who don't read the forum, a vote has been issued with the option to either liquidate the corp and institute a buy back, or for the shareholders to select a new CEO and carry on the project with that.
I had so much hope for this project, but I never anticipated how difficult it would be to attract members to the corporation. I will most likely log onto Eve sparsely for the next few months, and eventually return to 0.0 where everybody else is.

I had high hopes for this venture, not because I thought it would be profitable, but because I thought it might do good things for Derelik. I'm sorry that things didn't work out, and that you weren't able to keep your production lines rolling.
I would like it if you would wait and see if there's enough of a community response of people who would be interested in helping out, but I understand that you might have done as much as is reasonably possible, and maybe Derelik simply isn't the place to start a production business at the moment.
Best of luck, I'll hold off on placing a vote for a day or two to give others a chance to voice their opinions.

Part of the issue is that because of the vacuum in Eve, a real-life creative project has stepped in to fill that void. Anybody genuinely interested can check out my blog where you can be certain I'll keep everybody posted, but the short version is that my friend and I are working on a card game that we intend to sell.

Whoo, that option was even more popular than I thought it would be.
Anyway, the vote botched when I logged on like an hour after it went through, and so was waiting for a downtime. Then I realized that my friend and I would be testing the decks we had assembled on Thursday (he kicked my butt with both decks, by the way).
Anyway, since I can actually see the results now, we can carry on.
Anyway, I guess I'll try to do the bulk of the buyback in two sessions. On Sunday, 0:00 (as in, it's just changed from being Saturday) by the game clock, I'll log on. If you have shares, convo me. I'll most likely tell you to take a number. When I tell you to (and not a MOMENT before), send me your shares, then I'll send you back your 100,000 ISK per share. I will then try to do the same thing at 18:00 the same day (and will post here if that won't work, though it most likely will be fine).
If you can't log on at either of those times, you'll have to evemail me and set a time. Remember, only send the shares AFTER I tell you to, otherwise I can't verify they're yours, and you don't get paid. You've been warned.
