Just curious because the last 3 storyline missions I have done have only given smallish amounts of ISK as rewards. I recently changed the corporation that I do missions for. Would this have made a difference to the kinds of stoyline missions and rewards I'm getting? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Best ship for moving 40.000 m3 more than a few jumps would be a freighter, i use the gallente one. It's called an Obelisk and you can see them at almost every gate in empire, because you don't need to skill a lot when you are already flying the Itteron V. Most of the time my Obelisk is sitting in the corp hanger for other members to use, for example to fly lvl 4 important missions. If you are not into training freighter skils, then use an Itteron V rigged with expander optimization rigs, that should make you able to hold almost 42K m3 Not into optimizing yourself for what you do, well, then settle with the lower output from running missions. How about not seeing the point to spend days to level up Industrial to 5 just for this mission? I actually fail to see why you get hired to move around tons of very important stuff, when all you're known for is killing and not hauling. Sadly, I believe this was the first story mission I have ever declined in 1 1/2 yrs of missioning. I wasn't about to risk my local fitted itty 5 - TWICE - through hostile space for 5m reward. And if I had done it in a lesser ship, it would have been unlikely to get the bonus. Hauling 40k m3 8 jumps (each way) and into hostile low sec is not my cup of tea. I can only imagine the standing hit I would take if I failed because a gankbear popped my hauler.

It is disappointing that the rewards are garbage but afaik the faction standing increase is much better for those lvl 4's. Even though some people may seem to get the run of the luck when it comes to rewards, that's all it is is a run of the luck, nothing more. Some times you get missions that give +1 - +4 implants and other times you just get the cash. The game is suppose to balance it all out someway or another. I get random just like the site says, and I have say to ratio is 1:1. 1 mission cash rewards 1 with an implant availalbe. ****************************************************** 'OMG WTF is that big thing?!?'... 'I don't know howveer I am sure gonna blow it up!'

Took 5 round trips in a Badger II with my skills through low sec....woo! However, while the reward did suck (was easily done in the 2 hr timeframe for the 5 mil, but)....the FACTION bump was the biggest I have ever gotten. My base Caldari went from 5.75 to 6.1.

However it raised my Minmatar standing by 8% and Gallente by 6.4%. Not bad for 15 minutes of work. Still liked it better when it gave a hardwiring though.
kurtz abraham Mundus Iovialis Safe And Fun Environment	Posted - 2007.01.12 12:11:00 - [27] "Materials for war preperation" still gives a +4 implant for 8k kernite, but the big one to get is Shipyard Theft as it gives T2 Mindlinks, i got a Mining Foreman but it is a very nasty mission, but as previously mentioned the low reward 40km3 one does give a nice faction boost.
CptNibboAres	Posted - 2007.01.12 16:18:00 - [28] you could always petition it, i know a friend of mine had a poor reward for the lvl 4 storyline he was about to run, so he put a petitin in and ccp changed the mission to give him the +4 implant, this was before Kali but it may be worth a shot if you feel you have been hard done by.
