simple question realy, does any alliance claim stain or certain parts of the region nowadays ?
it not realy clear on the territorial map.

Well in your case must be lack of understanding, to put it nicely. If you look over the map in teh sticky and the map in teh game you will notice many iregularities between the two.
You can not have sovereignity in a NPC region, constelation, system, but you can definitely kill all those coming through.
Fountain is a half NPC region, as you can see BOB is claiming it, XELAS and the HUNS are living in there and they have a big fight with Insurgency who also say they claim the region.
So I think the man has a legit question about stain, becasue someone must be living in there....

Syndicate has people making a living and killing others taht want to stay there, same applies to Stain. You seem to have more knowledge of Stain, so why not tell the op what he wants to know ?
e.g. "We're corp Y, we claim north Stain, we kill whomever passes through".
To the OP, if they fail to see your post and contact than just grab some ammo and friends and move in there. Best way to do it honestly.

ok.. STAIN is a FREE FOR ALL.. evryone kills everyone and people that have lived there since CA wars know that those that want to stay in STAIN can. In short there is a butt load of people in STAIN and chances are.. someone will shoot you no matter who you friendly with.

Stain is pretty much claimed and populated by alot of people in different area's of it, I would say the old SE/SA who are now AAA control most of the eastern areas's.
Alot of other random abandoned systems, change hands alot, pirate corps using the systems & killing whos there, using it for awhile to make isk and moving on..
Ociasonal fighting happening, bait and gank stuff, blobs sometimes, and vaga's/gank fleets trying to catch npc'ers.. typical 0.0.
but pretty hard to get a foot hold in area with allready established/supplied corps/alliances in area, who are entrenched and ready to fend off those who try to move in on their systems/area. ie. with capitals, dreads/carriers etc. so not much station camping happens to anyone... alot of ASCN/BOB travel around in stain too.
To make a list of corps/alliances in stain would take too long though, since i even seen BoB peeps take over a system for a week or two... your best bet for moving to a nice quite 0.0 region would be delve tbh

Stain is an interesting prospect. Difficult to police due to the npc stations but stain were generally sucessfull. Back in those days we only really had incursions by a few corps.
Now I understand anyone and their mother lives down there. Perhaps someone will step up to clean it out in 2007...

To answer the ops question stain is totally npc soveriegn whereas fountain is not. Go check sov on the map.
So it technically cannot be claimed, but hang on that would mean rise dont control outerring or syndicate either... go find one of the other thousands of anti rise threads that discuss that little monkey.

Everytime we raid stain there is an assortment of corps or alliances there.
The main alliances of course that I see roaming about atm are The Sudden Death Squad and U'K. They seem to be the main pvp dudes there with an assortment of various corps to spice it up.
But as of late there has been a crapload of ASCN and POS moving about and most likely moving all their gear to the NPC stations there so they don't have to worry about the BoB juggernaut that is on their throat.
Is it me or is Stain turning into Aridia of last year?

tbh, only a very few can speak about stain. stain is sort of a holy ground if you will, so much history here. only hte most bad ass can live here because of the carnage.
and to the dude argueing with hells, that means you, u have no grounds to argue what stain is because you prolly havent got a clue about half of wha tstain is and used to be.

To explain all of Stain at this time would take a life time.
I think the simpliest way to put it is though:
AAA Control much of northern Stain
The Eastern part of of Stain is mostly control by Kurai Komichi.
Western Stain running from the W-Q leg up to T-NN is controlled (mostly) by TSDS.
Central Stain is a mess... with many of the above plus non-allied Corps fighting for control over many individial systems there.
All of the factions intrude on one anothers space almost daily picking off unaware ratters and newbies of their neighbors. There has from time to time been capital ship exchanges. Even a very small amount of some POS warfare (Yes in Stain). There is no all out war however... just a lot of ships being exchanged for the sake of PvP.
Thats the shortest answer I can come up with.

Agreed Kthol. AAA give us nice fights, and the run for our money quite often. TSDS give us great fights as well, thier gank squads meet our gank squads for some fun.
Id say 9rq to zg8 is definitivly Kurai controlled. the systems between 9rq and lgk dont have stations so.. guess the no mans land =)
LGK is the Triple A hornets nest. the hm-uvd/g-mek area is Kurai and TRW controlled.
TRW being The Raven Warriors, and indipendent corporation thats friendly to both Kurai and AAA
South of zg8 would be TSDS tnt whoever.
theres even a new alliance living in gu-54g. that would be Terra Prime. they are great fun to fight. they blob the t1 ships and make for a hell of a zerg fight
Anyways, ive lived in stain my entire eve life, and i dont plan on leaving. stains one helluva place to live.

Yeah, I remember Stain well... had some great times there.
The whole region is, like Fountain was before the POS were brought in, largely impossible to hold long-term since you cannot keep people out of those NPC-owned stations... so you tend to end up with small bands of pilots fighting all and sundry... that was partly what made it fun IMO. :)

Ah yes, I have notice 1 of your pilots who likes to rat on the road down for some Terra/TNT killing, however never seen him outside a safe 
Reading the posts in this thread basicly sums up the current state of Stain at the moment, most of the entities in the region have targets further a field, but like killing each other on a daily basis just to satisfy the killing needs of the locals.
With the change of ownership in the regions controlled by ASCN and AXE the coming weeks should be interesting thats for sure.

Yes not one entity controls stain thats true , but take yourself into LGK, UF, 9RQ, HM, TG , 7R5 etc, and tell them they control nothing, Good Luck with that

For gods sake , as someone put it Stain is the 'local boozer' Yes you may love your alliance AAA, KK. TSDS TP whatever, but nobody owns anybody , we have owned and been owned by all these alliances , Im sure if they were honest they would agree to the same, Its great fun , get out of ya blinkers and see it, BTW to TSDS sitll remember that fight in UF ? great stuff , respects . Just an FYI K:D last 3 days against TSDS is 108:17, so it's not owned it we ran very fast but can you blame us? 30 BS vs 5+ Carriers, 20 BS and like 20 Support which is why we ran. Come fight without your Carriers, will be lots of clean fun =)

Awww, I missed the fun today. 
Aside for the friendly "banter" here, what I appreciate the most about our dancing partners is that they are very civil. Very little smack in local.
Believe me, compared to Syndicate, it's almost cordial.
And thanks to Dark-Rising who have dropped down for a holiday visit. Great fights.

I've had great talks with people in Stain in the past, from Raven Warriors to Silver Star Federation. I'm a chatty fellow in local and our opponents seem willing to oblige my need to chatter. Even ASCN after I begin the ritual insulting banter with them.
