seriously? wtf? heavy drones? and an inty? lol damn thats sum screwed up stuff.
inty pilot was a noob even if he did go afk since all he had to do was warp in 0.0001 seconds...

2 heavy drones no web no scrammer the inty pilot was basically a pilot thinking he could get away with enything cus he is so "good" as he tells me in local all the time he made a nub mistake u can make excuses for him but u could also make excuses for cyvok but no one makes them for him nub's simple as =P

lol actually i did tell it to warp, i guess i bumped off a roid or the guy did have a scram...... and lord mercury as far as i know the scope of our conversations in local is you calling me a "*** **** commie *****", but we wont go into that will we.
do you seriously think i would just sit there while 2 HEAVY drones chewed through me ? i might be a "noob" but you'd have to be mentally handicapped to do that.

That's not exactly true. Sure, I agree with you to an extent: just a game. However, would the game be much fun if you were flying around in your pod the whole time? I don't think so. The ship is the tool with which we HAVE fun. You lose your ship, you often lose the fun (unless you enjoy losing millions in tech 2 gear or otherwise). Not only that, but this game in particular is an invesment in money, and when the fruits of your efforts which were granted through that time which was bought by your money, go boom, people do have within reason an excuse to be upset (usually it's their fault to begin with but they can still be upset about it).

Heavy drones have a ridiculously terrible aim, how did they manage to hit the Inty to begin with? I assume he was orbitting, but even if he was webbed and even if he was standing still it'd be a few minutes before he racked up enough direct hits to go pop.
w/e sucks for the inty pilot. I couldn't imagine a rl circumstance beyond something exploding or catching fire that would make you leap from your computer without warping out to SS or otherwise though.

Tech 1 on a ceptor?  Oh well better then one of your guys that got blown up the other day flying with civ armor reps.

personally i think the most noob thing in this thread is the miner who had 2 heavy drones on a coverter. 5 med would be better in every aspect.
So the cepter pilot lost, big deal, im sure 1000's of kills happen everyday what makes yours so special as to require a post here?

1. When sometimes I play at work during office hours I alt+tab between eve and, say excel  . Sometimes I may have to change from eve asap (boss walked in) and do not even have time to warp. Although I try not to pvp, at least not with my main at those times, it could happen. Not an excuse for the guy, I don't know him, but it could happen.
2. Raptor is not an inty you fools.... It's a T2 shuttle
3. I don't think heavy drones can catch an non-mwd orbiting inty, but I may be wrong. On the other hand, if you pirating a covetor in an inty and u think u're doing great you may be tempted to disregard the drones and try finishing oof the barge. Some lucky wreckings, bumping on a roid or something similar could kill you.
That's why while I'm try my alt's new crow on covetors in empire (using can flagging ffs, won't these ppl never learn) I always kill drones first
The kill is nothing anyway, the smack and blobing that follow is the real fun

i've had 5 berserks put on me once in a crow, didn't even land a hit.

there is no way heavy drones can hit a ceptor moving so the guy was obviously stationary or no mwd on at most. he says he had to go afk. i have had similar situations myself. family first, then eve.

Agreed. The only noob here is the covetor pilot for thinking it's a big deal to kill an inty. It happens all the time, it's not hard to kill one. It gets webbed, or flies into a roid, or gets lagged for more than 2 seconds and it goes down within seconds.
Not that I can entirely blame the covetor pilot. He must not get a lot of excitement, what with mining like a noob all day.

Agreed, so many ways he could have won or at least get away, Hell he could just have pointed the ceptor in any direction away from the fight, hit MWD and go afk. nothing would be able to touch him
