Ok so when you're buying/selling something there's 'sales tax'
At the end of every year (in real life, to make it realisitc) how about a Tax Return on certian categories of things?
IE
Tax Returns on items made for a certian slot...or something.
Think about it. At the end of each year the game can analyze your total amount of isk spent in taxes, the amount of isk that is returnable, and then you have to fly to a station that has a tax offical or something and start a conversation with the offical to get your tax return.'
Think of it, it'd be a few million isk that would come in handy at the end of every year, and this return would also be an incentive to players to keep playing, cause at the end of the year its kind of a reward from CCP, in a way.

which is exactly why I said limit it, cause I'd love to see a big fat +10M isk from the SCC in my wallet at the end of the year

The thing with tax returns is that when you get tax taken, it is taken gradually, giving it back at the end of the year once in a lump sum is a bit different.

Blah blah blah. This is EVE-Online, about as far from reality as you can get, so why should we base a game idea off real life, in this instance? I just remember getting a tax return and my old job in Florida at the end of the year. And it was just idea. No need to be a prat about it.

Well look at it this way, like it or not, for a certian range of people, tax returns on income atleast do exist, so why not give the rookies (who may or may not be struggling) a little extra help. I apologize for my limit of knowledge on tax in reality, but hey, I'm only 19 and working part-time on the weekends.
