The Price of Freedom provides a collaborative environment focused on perfecting ways to blow stuff up in npc null, and have fun while doing it. Read on to learn more- What we offer to you: -Great fights -Opportunity to be a part of a great community of players -A chance to rise up the corporate ladder -An easy-going crew to work with -Structured fleet operations -A helping hand -A mumble server What we expect form you: -Api key -A subbed player -A willingness to be a contributing member -A respect for your Corp Mates -An open-mind -5 mill skill points at least (exceptions can be made) -The ability to keep yourself entertained during down times Now that we have that out of the way I would like to share my personal experience with The Price of Freedom, maybe it will help you decide whether or not this is actually the corporation for you. I've had an on again off again relationship with EVE since 2009, never being able to handle more than a few months of play before experiencing disillusionment with the game due to the players in the corporations I had been a part of. Either incompetence, inactivity, or extreme douchebaggery would drive me to the conclusion that it wasn't worth my time or money. The experience I have had with The Price of Freedom has been something completely different. Leadership has been strong without being disrespectful or close-minded, and I have learned more about small gang pvp and life in null sec than I thought I ever would. The content has been fun and the people I fly with have been great. I've witnessed ups and downs but all of it has been entertaining. This experience has kept me subbed for the better part of a year so far and I don't see myself leaving any time soon. We are attempting to grow our ranks and increase or sphere of influence. I got 10 or so replies to the forum post and a couple of e-mails. 1 of these e-mails was from Bane Hunt and after a relaxed yet in depth conversation i'd made up my mind. So I joined Price and quickly came to love the corp. The focus of the corp is have fun and blow stuff up in pvp, which to a long term high sec mission runner / miner (while being the change I wanted) was a scary change of pace. However when Price has decent member activity it roams pretty much every night, so it wasn't long before I found myself in cheap throw away frigate and cruiser fits (scared out of my wits) having the most fun i've ever had in eve. Since I joined we moved from low sec to null sec and i've experienced more content in this short time in the corp than I have in the rest of my eve career, some of which includes: Actually being in a fleet, attacking targets with capital ships on field 1st capital ship kills :D 1st experience of conquering / building / running and eventually loosing a moon empire. and probably most importantly the 1st time (for a long time) i've felt at home in a corporation and felt a valued member of that corporation. If you bump 2008.06.15 then your next bump can only be 2008.06.16 and then 2008.06.17. It doesn't matter when during the day you bump, as long as the date is one day apart. For more information you can read the Thread Bumping Guideline. Bumping must consist of a real sentence, not simply the word "bump". For example, "Recruitment still open" is an acceptable bump. We brought over around 25 members with a big mix of backgrounds, new, old players, PvP, Industry you name it. Everyone is very happy with the move. What resonated with our group the most when we joined was the fact that we had a medium sized organization that had built a strong sense of comradery. In a game that draws out a lot of very self centered players, it's great to play with an active group like this where anyone will drop anything to give you a hand if you need it. We always have multiple groups running around doing all kinds of activities, keeping everyone busy having fun. We have a well stocked station with corporate contracts for many different, fully fit ships available. Move out, pick up whatever ship suits your style and continue to make an impact out here. As an ancillary benefit, members of Price are now also members of a very large, international gaming community that has a significant presence in many other games (Star Citizen, Planetside 2 we have the largest West Coast outfit here, War Thunder, Diablo, CS:GO, DayZ, Arma, Ark and more) and owns many of our own servers for other popular games (Ark, DayZ, Arma, etc). If you are looking for a solid group where you are not just another number but a valued individual this is a great place. We are experiencing significant growth from within our gaming community itself but would love to see more pilots from here as well.
