Hey guys,
I an using fraps to record my videos but i am findin that the recordin is not clear....
i mean i can see Most things but cant read the text of targets, hits etc....
i have read the main thread but no luck is there a better program than fraps ?

i have a 19" flat screen and i run eve full screen 1280x1024
i have a 7800 G-card as well :/
and when i take a SS with fraps its fine clear as day....
but movies its suck :(

That's your problem. You are trying to Fraps at a resolution higher than Fraps will allow you at full size without halving the resolution.
You cannot go higher than 1280 x 800, even with version 2.8.2 of Fraps, unless you have a dual core CPU.
If you do have a dual core CPU, then you cannot have the latest version of Fraps on your hard drive.
Go to Fraps's website for more information. Also you could ask ingame in the eve-videos chat channel, should you still be having problems...

hey guys thank the really clear now....
but when i run the 1152x864
i get 9 fps :/
was ok in a higher res but now only 9fps

Dunno what you're talking about, but I fraps at 1680x1050 fine, its crystal clear.
I have a Athlon X2 4200+ /w 2GB DDR2-800 and use FRAPS 2.8.0.
Older versions of fraps can't capture at high resolution though.

Have you changed any other settings at all? because very little should have changed, other than the file sizes of the Fraps capture being a little smaller...

I have Dual 3GHz Xeon system with 2gb of RAM. I should be able to run FRAPS recording at HiRez with no problems, right? I'll check out there site and see what's up.
