*yawn*
You couldn't control your alliance and you couldn't keep to the schedule of outpost construction that was agreed.
Either one was enough for us to reset your standings, yet we allowed the second to go on for MONTHS after the date of completion. MONTHS.
Now you're staying in Fountain - good luck to you.

Indeed they did, apparently they're easy kills and drop good loot - we'll take that, thanks.

Originally by: Ava'Lin Mytil I'd also like to say, Darth solo and Celes have done a good job there of keeping the powers that be running to their outposts in the area and hiding, the ones who wish to oppress and rule all of the known universe... yet can't keep control of it.
Yes, the last time CELES encroached on BoB stations we certainly did run, oh yes, we hid, too, amongst the wrecks of hostile capital ships. It's taken you this long and the biggest victory you've had so far is this one. One where WE reset the standings.
ho ho ho.
Horde were given their chance to take advantage of the opportunity we presented them, they failed - now it's time for someone else to have a go. As for control, you don't need to control all of it... just the good parts will be enough - and that's alllllll us.

Originally by: dabster Luckily for A LOT of players/subscribers all around EVE, that is never going to happen.
That's right, dabster, it has everything to do with LUCK and absolutely nada to do with ability. Which is the entire point.
As for us resetting standings without any notification - what complete rubbish. The trigger to this event was a horde pilot refusing to follow the rules as they are quite clearly laid out. This was the umpteenth time this has happened and he was informed either leave or be shot. This ultimatum was given by Shrike.
He refused.
Guess what happened next? The pilot was told, in convo, that their standings were being evicted and I then sent the following mail on the "BoB standaings" mailing list, access restricted to the primary contact of each group in BoB space:
Quote: 2006.12.27 18:53 Remove "The Horde" alliance, they are evicted from BoB space.
This is a mailing list that I have literally only this second removed "zorba leitus" from.
We have been and will continue to be completely up-front with people on our standings and expectations - fail them and you get booted and shot, what a surprise that is

eh? What point are you on about? Discussion about NPC stations has anything to do with this topic?
It was a completly OT statement that i merely replied to.
You brought up the "luck" component, Dabster, I "merely" replied to it.

Sorry, running and logging isnt "top of the game".
You bring fleet of similar size, you lose.
Last time I led a fleet that jumped in on you, at your preferred (short) range, you ran off, we were vastly outnumbered and we returned with +2 bs kills.
Carriers are great, aren't they?
