Since I have been in Fountain I have been suprised at what I found. The core was a lot friendlier than I expected, Xelas seem to abandoned it completely apart from the odd one or two pilots. But there are the outposts now ofcourse, which are placed in the best systems in Fountain. Xelas will happily not come to the core as really they have no need to, they site and rat/mine in g95/y-2/etc.
They are not great at defending themselves or controlling their systems if hostiles come to visit, but then again not everyone is a pvp'er. If I am being totally honest I would have liked more combat, Fountain is less hostiles than I expected or wanted.
As for blues in the core, I don't think anyone will be running "at the first sign of BOB" but I am guessing BOB are going to bring everything when they come to Fountain core, I don't think BOB will be looking for a fight, I think it will simply be a case of leave Fountain or be uber blobbed.
Thats my thoughts anyway.
If people run, hide and dock when a single blob comes to visit they have no right claiming their space. Blob warefare isn't less then smallscale warfare, although some people like to make it look that way. |

We own fountain core and whereever we fly in fountain. bob just lost a friendly alliance, i dont know much about why and furthermore dont care about it at all.
now theres only xelas left and tbh i understand why the l33t bob wanna talk highly about those pilots.
So bob can come and blob and make some of the ppl in fountain leave. We and others will stay and fight. it doesnt really matter. bob cant blob us in and do fancy stuff elsewhere at the same time. So within a given time periode. We will invite the same ppl back and control fountain once again.
If this happens all over bob claimed space. the bob has a problem. more ppl need to realize this, but its only a matter of time.
and to all the happy miners in bob, who just love to fuel all those pretty POS's, good for you
sincerely

I wonder what will happen when 0.0 npc stations are taken out. |

Luckily for A LOT of players/subscribers all around EVE, that is never going to happen.
Get a clue.
I'm just wondering what would happen if they did ;) |

BoB win at BoB's rules - and those are the rules which ASCN, AAA, LV, RA etc have chosen to play. Celes, at the moment, are winning by there own rules, which is small scale PvP. They don't pretend to own all of Fountain - but they and their friends do own Fountain core in the only way that one can 'own' NPC areas which is to drive out your enemies.
I am glad i'm winning eve by my own rules, which is sitting in rens, i just hoped there would be more of a challenge to it ;( |

and the future is that bob dont "control" who lives in fountain, they yap on the forums and pulls strings that makes xelas twitch abit. thats all. celest is the ones who are enforcing their law and control on fountain with the gun not by sitting in a little hut in the corner and screaming "I OWN THIS YOU CANT BE HERE" like bob does.
have a nice day ladies.
Ah yes, the bitterness is strong in you. |

Don't try to play the 'i'm not bitter' card again, it obviously fails.

Wtf would he have to be bitter about? If you knew anything about him you would know that his enemies tend to end up in pods or stations.
Alot of things, and it shows. He's frustrated because his way of playing the game isn't the only way. It doesn't matter if he's good at what he does or not.
The moment someone tries something else it's 'easy way', 'blob' or 'nub' gameplay and then the non-stop crying about it starts. Now that shows bitterness. |

How can you say this with a straight face when there are half a dozen people adamantly insisting that anyone who doesn't play the PoS maintenance, cap ship, blob, ice mining style of play, loses by default? That PoS spamming backed sovereignty claims are the only legitimate measure of ownership or influence in a region, and that everything else (like, say, small gang warfare) is secondary, if not irrelevant.
It's not bitter to stand up and say, "no, bite me, your way of playing sucks and I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole."
If he would just say "no, bite me, your way of playing sucks and I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole." it would be different. But he's not, he's doing the same thing; saying his way is -the- way and the others suck.
And then whines non-stop about it. |
