Hello!
My character, according to the IN GAME menus is at 1800 sp per....now I though that was the standard speed with no remaps and no implants. However, I have had +3 implants on danixex for awhile now and it appears that there is no sp boost seeing as the in game menu is still at 1800.
What gives?

Erm... I didn't know the SP per hour appeared anywhere in the in-game UI.
Perhaps you just need to wait for whatever monitor you are using to update, or you clone jumped into a clone without implants.
SP per hour = 60 * Primary + 30 * secondary |

I'm not able to log on current but I can always done check on my pc later tonight. If anyone else might have the answer feel free to post. |

There is nowhere ingame that shows your sp per hour rate that i know of...
However, your sp per hour rate will depend on your attributes and the skill being trained.
you have 5 attributes which start at a base of 17 pts each = 1,530 sp per hour you also have 14 remappable points which can be distributed between any of the 5 attributes.
each skill has a primary and secondary attribute associated with it, so only those 2 attributes will effect the training speed of that skill.
As Tau pointed out the formula is value of skills primary attribute + half the value of the skills secondary attribute * 60
So if you have 20 pts each in the primary and secondary attributes, the speed will be 20+10*60 = 1,800 sp per hour
The implants add 1 - 5 pts to each of the 5 attributes and thus increase the sp per hour rate.
The minimum attribute value is 17 pts and the maximum is 32 pts unless you have a blood raider accelerator plugged in. |

Even tho you have never remapped, those 14 remapable pts will still be spread out across your attributes.
I suspect the 1,800 your seeing ingame IS NOT your sp rate but something else, as stated the in game UI does not show your sp rate per hour anywhere that i know of.
In order to determine what your sp rate should be, i will need to know what skillbook you are currently training, and the value of each of your 5 attributes.
Do you have a full set of all 5 +3 implants installed?

I suspect it's the litres of bullplop that your assertion contains.
Not trolling, but it's highly unlikely it would display SP/hour, given that this has literally never been mentioned by anyone anywhere. If you can provide a screenshot I will gladly eat my hat, but otherwise I'm going down the bullplop route.

Anyway..thanks so much for all the supportive answers. The few that there were. Someone at ccp listened and did the math. Because I was allocated some sp which I have already used towards cruisers. I'd agree with you all right now but my assertation has already been confirmed by ccp.

If the primary and secondary stats were both at 17 of whatever skill he was training (cruiser?), and he had +3s plugged in, that would mean both primary and secondary would be at 20 each. That equates to 1800 sp/h on the dot.
ps. you really should start using a program like evemon to help plan your mappings and training queues. That way you can make sure you get the maximum amount of SP as often as possible.
pss. also grow a thicker skin if you plan on hanging around the forums :P

You really should look into remapping if you want to increase your training rate. For example, the Charisma attribute only applies to a small segment of skills that many players are not interested in.

I am guessing you where using the in-game browser and went to a site such as eveboard to see your SP/hour. I also have not seen this rate in the game anywhere displayed, although it would be nice if it showed on the character sheet, not on the list of what I would consider priorities for the game though. |
