I've noticed that CCP has been auto-billing the next period on my credit card without asking me first... If I've indicated that they can do so at some point during sign up that's fine, but could someone please point it out to me?

Auto billing will occur unless you have cancelled the account. This is standard procedure for all MMOG's.

Jumpgate what is similar MMORPG, it has no auto-Billing
Auto-Billing Shuld be optional selektion.. not automatik *SLaps CCP whit pice of omber ore*

Huh? Back when I still played Jumpgate my Subscription was allways auto-billed on my CC every Month.

I do belive it is. At least the ones Ive played (Everquest and Anarchy Online).
Dont be so quick slapping others with omber. That could hurt really bad... |

what i mean is that Auto billing SHULD be an optional.. not Automatic... Player shuld be able to select whenever he wants or dont want an auto charge of his creditcard(or whatewer)

is a $13 charge that hard on you? are you always at the limit on a card?
every MMP game I've played has autobilling as standard and automatic unless they have it set up you can pay another way.
it's also set up to be quick and painless for us lazy folks... (at least the account isn't closed the moment you cancel, like I've had in another game)

If I were building a MMOG, I'd only allow automatic rebilling. Requiring notification each time generates too much overhead.

imagine if i cast away on deserted iland and cant delete my accoutn.. for 3-4 years....
Autobilling SHULD be an option to selekt... not automatik

You click on the TOS "Accept" everytime you start up EvE. You should read them sometime, tells you what they can and can't do.
You have a char there, so I am thinking you have at least pressed "Accept" once.

I'll LOL for everyone there. If that happened then they would (CC) assumed you have died and your assets would be sold and given to them and the state unless you had a will.
I'm sure EvE would just take their losses out of your assets 
But I doubt you have any, because you are complaining about an extra 13/month that you MIGHT have to pay. If you don't want to pay it, you can call EvE at anytime and cancel your account. What's the difference? Other then you being lazy about it.
