This is NOT a rant.
I earn alot of ISK ingame and pay alot of attention to the *Sell Forum* area, and over the last 5 months it has become increasingly difficult to read it. Or to even spot sales, this is simply because of the amount of GTC's sales going on.
You simply cannot place anything up for sale because the GTC sellers knock it off the main page within seconds. I feel this is, if anything, knocking prices up for mods and ships because they get knocked back to page 4-8 within 24 hours and no one see's your thread, and because you can only bump once per day. This is, not unfair, simply annoying.
So i ask you CCP, NO, i implore you as a player of eve for three years. PLEASE make a sell forum for GTC's, because the situation worsens each day.
I DO NOT begrudge GTC sellers in the slightest, we all make ISK our own way and should be free to do this. What i imploring you to do is to look at the situation and take action when it is so obviously needed.
If you agree with my post please post /signed and your reason. I think it is time for CCP to do sumthing about this

Seriously though I agree that GTC's could use their own forum/subforum or chat channel

I'll second this. I gave up on the sell forums because of the GTC sales. I can't find anything in there.

I said id liek to see them having there own *forum area* so sell forums are back to being popular

Agreed, we need to split out-of-game sales with in-game sales, it'll help organize each category better rather than just lobbing it in as one sell forum.
Imagine if Buy and Sell orders were merged, as I recall hearing they were in the old days. Imagine how much of a pain that would be today if they wouldn't have been split.

I haven't used the sell forum for a year and a half, just went over to take a look as an unbiased independent observer with no stake in the matter.
And I have to agree.

I guess I'm pretty good at ignoring stuff I'm not looking for (IE, GTCs sell orders), but I do notice that the most significant portion of threads is GTCs for sale.
I have to agree, give GTCs a seperate forum.

CCP wanted to fix the forum by making people use contract, unfortunatly auction are still best done on the forums since contract can only be seen in one region, or you have to check EVERY region of the game for the contact you are looking for, instead of just launching a eve wide search.
Fixing the contract will fix the forum, I think CCP are still in the 'it has been fixed' state and will ignore the sell order forum for something like 6month/1year and then try to fix it again when they realize it's not true.

a gtc section is badly needed!
as for contracts replacing sales forums it will never happen...
how will people sell mom's & titans
how will people easly sell large ammounts of items eg 100+ dread items etc
You cant browse contracts at work ^^ or as easily.
But none of these things can happen due to
30day x 47 realiable seller 11111.
