If you think your petty thieft was hurtful in anyway, you are sadly mistaken. All that was taken was easy to replace. If anything, i feel sorry that you must find fun in this sort of behavior in a game.

Even more easier you coulda just made a search on the forum to see that he was a scammer and not invest.

We are the ex-Horde corporation he speaks of. There was no history at that point of this character or xsaracoast of being a scammer. This came to light a couple of months afterwards.

Edited by: Ervinia Daisy on 01/01/2007 19:25:03 Nice pull. If people do hand over BPO's without asking for collateral, then they are breaking the first rule you ever learn about Eve, about trusting people.
There are other research corps that offer collateral afaik. And they, would be the only one I would 'trust'.
You can now buy GTC's that will let you play with 3 accounts without paying irl money, for around 10+ years. For some people, that will come in handy very well, and if seen in that light, you can't really blame someone for doing something like this 'in a game'.

In the light of the new year, and with everyone wishing eachother a happy new year, I think the evil in your way deserves an appropriate "welcome".

I guffaw at all of those that are complementing him. Are you reading between the lines and rubbing his ego? And having little compassion to those that have lost so much and what they have spent on acquiring it?
Quote: For what its worth, I never went into this with the intention, I just found out later on down the line, what price I would sell my soul to the devil for.
So, what was the deal breaker that made you do it? Obviously something changed you, as you mention it was not intended. Something tells me it ain't majestic. And if you have some decency in you, you give some back. Its a game.

The deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers. Fools will praise you for your stolen ISK and ask you for a slice. Honest people will disrespect you. Your previous friends, corp mates: they will remember you as a nameless, faceless bastard.
And when you morally mature, if it will ever happen, you will forever regret your actions. Hell will come to you on earth as your consciousness eats you from inside. Rot like the dirty backstabber you are.
Have a horrible new year. You deserve it.

It's probably a good thing that the people who get furthest in eve are the dishonest ones then.

Depends on what you classify as 'getting furthest in eve' as. Achieving some respectable ends through means that include betrayal and treachery definetely doesn't classify as something truely achieved.

I knew it and like Dark Shikari , I'm pleasantly surprised that he succeeded so well. At first it looked like an amateurish scam , babbling on the empire channels. But , I never thought it was hiding such large scale operations. Congratulations , it was so worth it

Anyone who trusted you deserved to lose everything they gave you.
I totally agree, how the heck did people trust him in the first place, he even petitioned me and got me gagged in blueprints channel when I called him a scammer.

so you happily admit to activating another persons account and then using it to steal items off others?
you do know that using another persons account is not allowed under the eula and is a bannable offense?

So you are Xsaracoast, lol
That was a fun few days back in MNET. TBH I never dreamed the person behind that char would be capable of all this!
Well you never got any ISK out of me, and at least you did things in a humorous way. I wish I had the log of you smacking everyone down in alliance chat, Priceless!
In my view anyone stupid enough to lend ISK to someone that has only been in their corp for a day deserves all they get.
But by the sound of it, some of the other stuff you've pulled off was a lot more subtle than my brief first-hand experience of your exploits.
Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves...

nope, when someone steals a account to do ingame theft it definetly is against the EULA and he admitted it himself. so he should be banned for account theft and all that isk should be frozen in on his banned accounts.
if you gonna kick someone in the face then dont use stolen accounts and admit that you stole or got someone elses account to do it with. account sharing is not allowed by the EULA either. so i sincerely hope that CCP makes the people who got robbed a big smile on their face that this RL thief wont be able to play eve anymore with the isk he stole ingame.
karma is a nice thing sometimes.

Transfering the characters to an account owned by you is allowed, but not using the original account.

Edited by: Zardenim on 02/01/2007 22:35:45 I'm split about trust in EVE. You can't live with or without it. Trust is the thing that the whole corporation system is based on. Thus there are certain precautions you need to take before trusting someone...
And the fact that no one had collateral on those damn BPOs makes me side in your favor Romeo. You have done a fine job of speeding up Darwinian mechanics.
Congrats on all the ISK... have fun with whatever it buys you.
edit: Yay I can see peoples faces again!
