If it was an SQL backup of the entire forum database then that really narrows your search dude and any genuine intel provider wouldn't relinquish such information on the source (as if it is true, you've prolly just shafted them).

If he did have the entire SQL database, then why not just grab the origional post and remove any doubt?

This is so easy to fake mate, there is one thing that makes me wonder as to how it may be true and that is, i get the distinct impression you don't like bob yet such a post like this actually aids them.

It creates mistrust amongst D2, a potential enemy to BoB, and does nothing but make bob look like they've pulled off probably the biggest coup this year (already?! :D). Unless it was your intention to cause amonosity between BoB and D2, if that was the case your p***ing into a sea there mate.

To start the new year, we reveal the plan by the BoB leadership to put a spy into D2. That's hardly news, as all the alliances are spy ridden. What makes this maneuver different, is that BoB leadership placed an entire corp of BoB alts into D2... MONTHS ago.

That's right, as we speak, D2 has been infiltrated by an entire corp of Alts who are controlled by BoBs most trusted. A fun quote from dbp on the topic is, "think of a BoB puppet corp controlling D2" .

While controlling D2 from within may be a lofty goal, the more realistic stated goal of rotting D2 from within seems far more possible. (Having dbp posting on their internal forums would probably do it alone.

The fact that he is running a ôfor hireö service and requires isk for intel, credibility is the single thing he has or should ever care about. Without it, he is a scammer that will only give you fairy tales for isk. How can you not see this, or do you simply ignore the obvious on a daily basis?

Your perception of how we operate and what we are doing is based on the opinion of the vocal masses, not on any fact that you can prove. We do not hack or exploit to gain an edge, even against D2.

But you will happily parade a proven hacker around, and in turn question my integrity, just because he is giving you intel. Nice to know the price for respect in D2 is quite affordable. Will come in handy in any future conflicts.

But just like hacking is breaking the immersion is paying extra accounts to gain access to other parties in order to gain an edge.
That's the problem I as a player have. I r have multiple accounts but the characters don't interact if they are in different factions.

You and I as a player very well know that his intel is true and so does everybody with some idea what is going on.
