Only going to mention people I have fought with or against
1. Welsh wizard - Despite being a noob sp wise he is one of the best all round players I have flown with and excels at leading small roaming gangs even if he cant setup a ship :)
2. Outbreak - Class act
3. RA for not knowing when to die
4. Prob the one with the titan dying as it was historic
5. My time with celes in fountain was my fav war

RA not knowing when to die...lol. Sounds like some guys needed to make house payments with isk. Eve is a lot more important when you need money.
Just one of the reasons my accounts are suspended.

1. Best Pilot: Farjung - solo pvper, fleet commander (who does not lose his cool and obtains immediate respect)
2. Best Corporation: TAOSP - You do not want to have to step to the plate vs these guys. Kill ratio is deadly. Not sure you guys sleep much except for downtime :)
3. Best Alliance: BOB - biased from my brief spell in it, but excellent at using all aspects of EVE to steamroller ASCN and hence achieve in 2006.
4. Best Thread - INNOMINATE NIGHTMARE. Enough said
5. Best War - BOB v ASCN.

1. Best Pilot: Fedaykin Naib has always amazed me, else Farjung or Emelie. I bet there are many awesome ones, I don't even know.
2. Best Corporation: NSN(why else would I be in it?), or Celestial Apocalypse(for sticking with it, and for not pressing the easy button)
3. Best Alliance(Like Lowa said, in what way?), but none better than BoB at large scale warfare, RA for tenaciousness, ISS for making isk in what I once thought was an impossible and naive idea.
4. Best Thread(Can't really remember a good one though).
5. Best War(the ones on the forums - pick one).

1. Best Pilot - Tholarim - Probably the best FC in the game easily. Probably one of the ONLY FC's i'd ever trust.
2. Best Corporation - Destructive Influence - BoB Lites pure domination of ASCN over the past couple of months has impressed me. Such resolve within the corp.
3. Best Alliance - BoB - Killing the titan won the war. End of story.
4. Best Thread. - ASCN Surrender thread (or words to that effect) - HUZZAH!
5. Best War - ASCN vs BOB - Greatest war i've ever been in. This makes me love eve, and everything about it.

1} i dunno..
2} my own corp aside, outbreak have seemed to shined this year
3} Red Alliance, losing thier space...then going from nothing to owning a third of the south, love em or hate em, gotta respect what theyve accomplished.
4} i guess the kill of titan thread, forums seem to lack its luster anymore tho 
5} ra vrs coalition. the scale of this war is something that has never happened before. odds at one point more than 10:1. day in day out fleet battles for close to a year. most alliances involved in the war are pvp alliances. more than double the amount of pilots involved in the bob v ascn war. and the underdogs end up winning to boot. the ascn v bob war is nowhere near. close to same odds, a complete one sided war. and its a pvp vrs industrial alliance. nothing special there.

1. Best Pilot - Difficult to say as I haven't been very active in 2006, but on the face of it, it has to be one of the BoB pilots that won the tournament *again*. Didn't TWD orchestrate the team this year?
2. Best Corporation - Probaby Outbreak, fantastic sigs and IMO they have the highest concentration of A grade FC's of any entity in the game.
3. Best Alliance - It has to be BOB, they have talked the talk and walked the walk for the nth year in a row.
4. Best Thread - ButterGate thread, it had everything you could possibly want in a thread. Drama, intrigue, screenshots, mercs, accusations... a wet dream for any forum 'professional'.
5. Best War - BoB vs ASCN.. It truly was the "Fall of a Titan" and had a thread to match, blistering pace, Titan killed, and an obscene amount of BS and Capital ships destroyed. Probably the most effective dismantling of a major alliance the game has seen.
I sincerley hope that next year if I am still in the game, the top 5 won't be plastered with BoB

Urgh, I usually hate when peeps nominate their own alliance/corp etc for these things and I apologise here but I simply can't see beyond us for some of these.
1. Best Pilot
TWD.
For the third championship running, he was our master planner. He gave us the tactics for the championship, was the fc and lead pilot.
Also his deathstar POS are a nightmare ;)
2. Best Corporation
Outbreak.
Showed us what they could achieve by going toe to toe with 2 of our corps and coming out on top for a week.
3. Best Alliance
BoB.
Made a Titan.
Killed a Titan.
Won the 3rd PVP championships.
Destroyed one of the largest alliances in the game.
Took control of 40+ stations in the game.
Took control of the most regions in the game.
Set up the basis for a new regime in eve that works.
4. Best Thread.
Innominate Nightmares' Travels.
5. Best War
BoB vs ASCN.
3 months of pure killing, intrigue and fun for all after everyone complaining that the forums were boring all summer.
