I'm stupid because I have 4 accounts?
Is that what you're saying?
EVE is a huge time investment, played by mostly 30-somethings who don't have a lot of time to waste on a broken game...
We are not all college students who have tons of free time on our hands...

Well, one of my accounts plays with 100's of ppl...
I have been in EVE since beta.
What I have learned being a part-time player is, if you want to sit down for 1-2 hours a couple days a week, you have to do EVERYTHING yourself, otherwise you spend too much of your EVE time waiting for someone else... All that does is make me want to play another game instead of EVE...
I've been there done that...
If I want to PvP, I log onto my 0.0 alliance character, if I want to do ANYTHING else, I do it alone with my alts... I can't be waiting around for ppl, I have a RL that requires my time...
I also can't waste time on a game that is broken, hence want it to not be broken, etc...

Quote: You're making it sound like playing EVE is a responsibility, not actually designed for fun.
I have been playing EVE since Beta, I can honestly say I believe the game is 25% fun, 75% too much like work...
Good for you if you think it's 100% fun in the few hours a week you play...
Let me just say that, if I was limited to 1 EVE account only, I would have quit a long time ago...

if its only that much fun why do you play it then.
Because games like Homeworld etc, only last one week... And I'm not into elves...
Plus I see potential with EVE I do not see anywhere else.

What if you are a 30 something college student with a ton of time on your hands?
Hmm, I guess I would say good for you? LOL...

secondary accounts and other chars give me the chance to enjoy more than one area in game.
I do enjoy it mostly.
If you want us both to have a good laugh, please post how much you think a courier job for an induload of trit moved 5 jumps should bring you.
So true, I've done just about everything this game has to offer, and I have 3 or 4 specialiazed characters instead of one gimped jack of all trades (i.e. useless) character...

The second you say something silly like... THIS IS NOT JUST A GAME !!!! .. should be your warning sign to quit.
Actually, EVE IS more than just a "game" It's a passion, past time, place to actually meet ppl, etc...
I think fanfest and corp get-togethers prove it's more than just a game...
