Edited by: RawrX00 on 03/01/2007 16:09:19 Why would anybody kill a barge? They probably don't have anything, and it seems they would take a LONG time to get down.
Your thoughts? I'm a new player, trying to find PvP in EVE (which in itself, is hard. Which will bring us to the next question).
I was in a system with ONE other guy, so I figured I would scan him down. There were no stations. I went to a planet, 360¦ scan did NOT get him.. So I went to a stargate, it did. I narrowed it down to a belt (assuming he was ratting) and went there, he wasn't there.. Scanned again at 360¦ and he was gone. I've scanned down somebody scanning at a planet, but I couldn't find this guy? What did I do wrong? I seriously don't understand it.

Because they can kill it (I'd rather ransom in though) and there is chance that you have something nice fitted. Modulated T2 Strip miners are worth 15 million or more a piece. |

Edited by: Marcathonas on 03/01/2007 16:10:57 Because they DO have stuff and they're extremely easy to kill.
Emphasis on the strip miners. Yum.

Edited by: OutThisLifePreparing on 03/01/2007 16:13:11 Alright then I should've killed that guy, heh.
Well what about the scanning thing? That was odd.. How could somebody completely vanish but stay in the same system?
PS: This is Rawrx00, don't know why I posted on either of these..

a common misconception is that a 360 scan covers the whole solarsystem...
