I make 50-70 mils for 3-4 hours spent to do 20-30 jumps and dock 15-20 stations. I do that every 2-3 days. It's a nice profit considering I do nearly nothing.
The obelisk has the most interesting compromise due to providing access to the Iteron 5.

As the poster above mentions and, I think is fairly obvious, industrials haul the ore/ice to a station from where the freighter takes over...

Originally by: Makyllis Braiden Then how in the heck do you use a frieghter as a dump truck. As Ben put it if you can't take cargo out of jetcans or dock at a POS. You'd have to have to people use industrials to bring it to an NPC station, then transfer it to frieghter and then haul it. Which would be a huge waste of time.
Quite simple, you don't use a freighter as a dump truck, because you can't.
If someone says they can, they are wrong and/or lying.
Indeed you are correct, someone would first have to haul the material from the belt in industrials or whatever other ship back to the station where the freighter can then load it and assume the role of bulk hauler.
However, this may not actually be a waste of time depending on the operation, numerous industrials hauling numerous runs back and forth to the station means a vast amount of material, that if it were to be moved to yet another station would mean even more runs back and forth, so even with all the industrials working 'full bore' it would be a tremendous time drain.
However, a single freighter can haul several hundred thousand m3 of cargo in one trip, so even if an entire system was mined out and hauled home, a single freighter could very easily move it elsewhere from the station in just a run or two (results may vary, not a guarantee, not valid in Montana).
One Obelisk with just enough skill to hold 900,000m3 of material could move more in one trip than 21 'perfectly' set up Iteron 5's (at 41,847.78923m3 with CE2's, two T2 expander rigs and a T1 rig).
So even assuming on the outside that a VERY large operation would have seven of those perfect Iteron 5's moving all the time, the Obelisk would still acomplish an even larger haul in less than one third of the time.
The ore would have to be hauled back to a station either way, so hauling it from the belt to a big pile to be picked up by a freighter is hardly out of the question.

for raw m3 Charon is the best, for looks Providence is the best with the Charon in second.

Originally by: FFGR The Minmatar freighter does actually warp faster than the others by a bit and has a faster m/s for those afk haulers. The Caldari one is the best for moving large volumes but has the slowest alignment/acceleration.
The Obelisk is actually the best option between speed and hauling volume and you get access to the best hauling industrial also.
And the Providence is just a giant epeen good for nothing.

Originally by: Shugo Kazuma I'd agree, there's no real differences worth speaking of in terms of freighters given the relativeness of the differences.
Therefore, make your decision based on other criteria like what you're closest to flying currently, or if you're really keen, on the asthetical value of your hull (you are the one going to be looking at it the most).
The obelisk shines in all categories and it lets you fly a pimped out iteron before you can afford it.
