Hadean Drive Yards has had a long and varied history in the world of Eve. Since the corporation was formed back in the very earliest days of beta we have seen a multitude of changes in the Universe. We have seen the Pirate menace spread across the length and breadth of the Universe. We have seen the mightiest corporations rise and fall around us and we have seen new alliances formed, each with the intention of carving our their own stake in space in the quest for resources and power. Hadean Drive Yards has seen all these changes come to pass and here we still are. Now we are planning to take Hadean Drive Yards in a new and exciting direction and we are looking for a variety of skilled pilots, both new and old and from a variety of trades to help us achieve this great task.
Why join Hadean Drive Yards? Well we are a unique entity within the world of Eve regarding how we run our corp. Structurally we are organised in a Military faction with the corp being split into three distinct divisions, Executive (EXEC), Logistics (LOG and Military or Special Ops (SOG). Within these divisions members are also divided according to rank similar to what you might find in the various navies around the world. In HDY members get promoted due to ability and usefulness to the corp, not just in terms of length of service or who they know. And depsite the fact we are divded up in this way to better administer the corp, all divisions work together to achieve the common goals.
Also the method in how our members contribute to the corp is something of a unique entity in itself. Members contribute towards the corp in the form of ISK from Agent Missions, NPC Rat Bounty, Trading and Ore from mining ops they participate in. In return we furnish our members with their needs, be it from ships to skillpacks. HDY is both run under socialist principles in looking after our members, but at the same time as one of the Premier Ship building Corps with in Eve we have a very strong Capitalistic element in us.
HDY has operated under this model for a long time now, The fact we are still around today bares this fact despite what our critics have said. Basically we are looking for more people to join this Band of Brothers and Sisters to achieve our goals. HDY is open to all races within the Eve Universe and we do not discriminate if you are a new or old player.
Still Interested?
So as you can see there is a wide variety of roles within Hadean Drive Yards. If you have any questions youÆd like answered please stop by our website at www.hadean.org . Also you can visit us in game by joining the Shop@HDY channel in-game and chat to the members there to get a feel of how things run.
The question is, Are you ready to take the next step towards a bigger and brighter future in Eve Online? If the answer is yes, Click on the link to the application form below and fill it out. If your application is suitable you will be contacted for interview by myself. Your destiny awaits youàà

Edited by: Khemikal on 04/12/2003 16:52:56 As DH said, feel free to stop by our in game chat channel "Shop@HDY" to talk.
To answer your question though, we currently have about 35 enrolled in HDY. Our website reflects no-alts, so what you see on the 'employee data' page is an accurate count of our current members. Of the 35, I would say about 20 of those log in on a regular/consistent basis. I say 20 because there are members away for personal / real life issues atm, but are still very active on our forums.
Any more Q's feel free to send me an EvEmail to discuss, post here, or stop by our shop!

Good Afternoon Rohann,
Our main base changes constantly as we move with the markets and where the demand for our product takes us.
Hadean Drive Yards, as portrayed by our website, is an industrial Corporation with the modus operendi of supplying vessels to the universe that is EVE. Pirate, Industrial, Military, Good, Bad and even Ugly. We supply to anyone who remains in good standing with the Drive Yards and who has the credits to purchase our product.
We have no political standing except that of "Do whatever is necessary and continue to generate the income via ship sales"
The members we do employ have all become a close knit group and reflects a dedicated and hard working body of individuals.
Yes, some are off for real life reasons (posted in Afghanistan, working swing shifts is wiping them out, looking for new homes, having a baby etc. etc.) however everyone on the Hadean roster is there because they are dedicated to the game of EVE and the Corporation that HDY is.
Please feel free to stop by our forums located at www.hadean.org/forums or even browse our main website located at www.hadean.org

Hi Overkill and HDY, not sure if you remember chats and dealings we had during beta but you were ok then
My opinion is that anyone joining would not have taken a bad choice as HDY has always been an upstanding and long term member of the eve community.
Good luck with your recruiting.

We have people from all walks of life in the corp and we have come together nicely to achieve our goals. Plus, Believe it or not, But we can be a goo dbunch to have a laugh with

Hadean have been the most consistant Caldari corporation I've seen, I remember them from way back when Oracle sparred with Sabaoth on the forums; Hadean were always around there dropping extremely professional notes.
Many kudos, Hadean.

Yes, we are primarily a ship building Corporation and have specialized our learning tree in that direction.
We also have trade operatives, financial gurus, technical wizards and even a couple of the more shady types within our Organization.
The kind words of the esteemed Oracle rep are also true. Hadean Drive Yards is an established Corporation which has been around since pre beta.

I've been a part of this great corp for a long time now and its been a pleasure to play Eve along side all these great people, past and present. We've seen some amazing people unfortunately leave us over time due to various reasons, mostly real life issues but due to the bonds and friendships created in HDY, contact has never been lost with any of them.
In game i've seen so many great things done by this corp, from 30 cruiser orders, 5 battleship orders, exoduses, some amazing battle stories and yet so much more. Theres always something going on and new people to meet, its really a great corp to be apart of.
So as you can see we are not just about making profit in a game, but having fun, meeting new friends and tightening bonds with current friends.
If you're looking for a corp that will look after you, as long as you look after it then you're looking at the right corp. We will provide you with everything you need from clone contracts to ships and equipment, all we ask in return is that you follow the rules, get on with the rest of the team, have a good time and gain some new friends.
So what do you say? What are you waiting for?
Fill in the application form now and be apart of something special, i'm glad I filled in that form.

Edited by: Gib Goblin on 13/12/2003 11:06:42 Interview with a Hadean : Gib on Gib
Today we're talking to Gib_goblin, an Officer in the SOG Division of HDY. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Gib what first attracted you to Hadean Drive Yards?
"I was looking a for corp which was taking the corp thing in EVE seriously and wanted to make a name & make a difference."
Was this the only thing which made you apply to Hadean?
"No, I found several large (and small) corps which had high ideals and sweeping statements, there are many good people out there, but Hadean's mission statement was not full of fiction."
What do you mean, full of fiction?
"In the sense that Hadean Drive Yards did not claim it would rule the universe, or conquer all the stars in known space...those kind of grand statements although fun, are pure fiction. Even the well established NPC Empires can't control all of space. I wanted a Corp with realistics ideals and sensable ideas. Thats why I chose Hadean Drive Yards." = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Tune in next week for more exclusive extracts this Interview. This has been your friend Gib reporter.

Edited by: Osher on 19/12/2003 18:46:11 Edited by: Osher on 19/12/2003 18:44:46 I would just like to say to any prospective employee that my new experience with HDY thus has far been nothing short of fantastic.
Upon joining I immediately found an air of maturity and professionalism unlike anything Ive experienced in other MMOG guilds. In addition, I felt welcome and wanted even though as a new pilot my skills were not of much use.
HDY then extended the offer to train me and teach me additional skills as well as game techniques that you wont find in any manual or school outside the school of hard knocks.
In conclusion I wanted to reiterate to any individual new or veteran that adhires to its mission HDY is for you. I honestly feel I will get back tenfold what I put into EVE now.
